Thanks y'all!

On a side note, how many exhaust have you guys gone through before settling?

I thought my pypes mid muffler with bombs was the one (o/r x-pipes) but recently did a 8hr round trip and the drone came back! It's ridiculous doing about 80mph on a wide range from 1800~2500rpm. Any higher rpm the speed climbs up too much.

My head and ears were ringing....this gotta be like my 6th setup

I got it right the first time: Kooks LT and their catted X paired with a custom modded set of Corsas to replicate the Saleen center exhaust. I'm sure theres someone who doesn't think it sounds good, but everyone so far has loved it. Best part is absolutely zero drone.

Props to my 8 year old daughter for keeping the phone steady.

Off-road pipes are meant to be off-road, literally lol.

I think the cons outweigh the pros of not having cats on street driven vehicle.

Started with just Roush axle backs then added stainless power LT's with ORX keeping stock mid section with resonators. I love it and no desire to change anything. Loud as fuck when I want it, quiet when I need it. Been thinking of doing a gt500 rear valance, if I did I would go with the quad black tip corsa's.

We've evolved the current setup three times:

1) stock manifolds, stock h-pipe & Mac axle back;

Trying to decide whether I want to risk it and do a log on the road in 3rd gear outside town early in the morning or pay the money to put the car on a dyno and wind out 4th.

Just pay the money and put it on the dyno. If you get pulled over the tickets will cost way more than dyno time.

Yah I got away with it (3rd gear pull) once already. Then got busted for a 62 in a 50 on the way home because I wasn't paying attention. That cost me $150. Odds are pretty good of not getting caught but I already have points on my license from that citation and another one a few years before it.

Leaning towards the dyno at this point but it's not cheap. $200/hr.
Makes the choice a little harder.

As long as they don't start the clock before tying your car down and keep it running taking it off, an hour should be more than enough time for data logging. Hell depending on mods some people tune in that time.

Drove it. Warming up enough, time for the drag radials to go back on.

I'm lucky. I have a toll road with a 75 speed limit here- so when I leave in the morning at 4:30, I can get any data logging I need to and not be too far over the speed limit. 3rd gear with 3.73s only takes me up to 90, which is very common around here and likely wouldn't warrant a stop.

Aren't you in Montana? There are no limit roads I thought?

125mph for those of us with 3.15 :burnout:
Sadly that will warrant a stop. And possibly an arrest. lol

They had "reasonable and prudent" back in the day. But then 20 more people died over the course of the year out of a million plus using the highway/interstate system here. That was the end of that.

There is another place in town with a dynojet I'm calling. He wants $100 for 3 pulls (for hp figures only) or $300 if I'm tuning.

Finally did the sound tube delete. Got a little "help" with it, but could not say no to repeated "Can I help? Pretty please..."

Also swapped out cheapie iJDMToy LED marked lights & tag lights to Superbightled pieces. Also got help with that.

Getting the matched color lights makes a big difference. Now the reflectors are completely lit instead of just the center spot. Looks way better. Hopefully these won't get rusty contacts & fail.

Downloaded the initial turbo tune from MPT, and data logged it. They were very clear that this tune was not to be driven on and only for static data logging in the driveway (idle and various rpm's from 1,000 moving in 500 increments to 3,500). Much more confidence in MPT than in the tune from BBR that Hellion sent with the "100% ready to go kit"!
