Fixing a mistake I made a few months ago.

Only problem is the Fleabay seller didn't mention he wasn't including the wiring harnesses. I should have known since there were no pictures of the back of the lights. Another $80 that's going to be pissed away.

How much did you score those for?

Filled the car up with 91 a few days ago then took the first datalog with the TVS. 3rd gear pull up to redline. Significant knock sensor activity. IATs look great, AFRs and trims seem fine. Not sure what to make of that but I'm definitely not real happy about it. Guessing either bad fuel or false knock.

Nothing like taking your freshly boosted coyote out for a first test and getting detonation. :/

In VMP's words it was a surprising amount of knock. It was retarding timing by almost 5 degrees.

So is the idea to now pull timing from the tune or try different fuel?

Fuel. I've been driving the car a lot the last day or two trying to get as much of it out as I can. Down to 1/4 now. I've stayed out of boost while doing it as much as I can tell anyway since I have no gauge yet.

5g of VP 105 octane to go in as soon as I get it under 1/4 tank. Then log it again and see if there is knock. No way is it fuel at that point.
