Yes but I asked for a very safe tune and I got it.
6800 redline, no crazy timing into it, everything is on as far as knock sensors, O2 sensors, and my 3.25" pulley can always be swapped for a smaller one.
And I'm already looking for deals on a FRPP twin 65mm TB.

Installed some dynomax bullet mufflers for resonators on my 1" 7/8 headers/ ORH Kook's & 3" MBRP street muffler mustang this morning- Man oh LIve- what a HUGE difference it makes- makes the car sooooo much nicer to drive cant believe I didn't do this right after I install the 3" ota pipes last year- Still has a lil obnixous bark from 28-3400 rpm when pulling away from a stop sign casually but dam it is way better than before. These cars definitely need reso with full O.R. exhaust and aftermarket mufflers- Couldn't be happier- $93 for the mufflers+$30 labor+$30 holiday weekend tip= Happy cruising holiday weekend for me!

eh, not worth getting caught up in the numbers, as you said, it's safe and I'm sure it moves out, enjoy it man!

Placed an order for new tires nitto nt555 g2 in 255/35/20 and 305/30/20 and ordered new tpms for my new wheels.

The car chewed up another follower with the engine. 1500 miles after the swap and I'm swapping cams again. Good thing I have enough spare parts laying around it only cost me 2 hrs and $13 phaser bolt. Replaced all the followers, lash adjusters, and the cam on the passenger bank.

Ran a new best yesterday. 10.81@130mph. Sixy foot was a 1.67.

Beats the previous ET by a tenth and 2mph more trap.

This is a completely different motor from the last one. All stock except for a CAI and tune lol. It was a junkyard motor, so who knows.

Going for a race red 2016 GT base with performance pack. The Shelby will always have a soft spot in my heart.

I can't blame a man for making the jump to an S550, but like I said in your classified thread, your Shelby is one of the nicest cars on the forum. I would have a hard time getting rid of that thing.

I have been fighting the urge to de-mod my car and make the jump to something else. Either an S550 or a <flamesuit on> used C6 Corvette Grand Sport.

I actually pulled out all the stock parts this past weekend, but I just couldn't bring myself to do it. I'll be an S197 man for a bit longer, at least.

I appreciate the kind words! I really love almost everything about this car and had some really great memories with it. I have had cold feet about the whole thing especially since the 07-09s are my favorite body style mustang, but I am pushing through with the decision.

I have had the urge to jump into something a bit more refined, quiet and techy for quite a while now. Something the wife and I can both enjoy on long trips. I think the S550 will fit the bill.

Nothing wrong with that. At some point you just want a car you can get in and drive without worrying about everything. If it's on the ragged edge all the time it takes all the fun away, unless you're filthy rich and a damaged engine isn't a big deal.
