Just as a heads up, Pentalab has given me plenty of solid knowledge on directions to take for maximizing my M90. I go back and forth about headers, TB and cooler, vs. just the pulley and intake and making the same power. I still have not decided.... but I have decided that I am looking for driveability and low maintenance/hassles. As bad as I want LT's, I don't want to mess with them loosening up or replacing gaskets... given their difficulty to work on/install. I drive the car very little and drag race it even less... maybe once a year. So I have been leaning toward just getting the pulley, tuner and CAI and be done.
However, if I were in your position, I don't think I would hesitate to go DOB or 2300. Given the characteristics of my car I am stuck with Roush stuff. Otherwise I would be doing DOB or VMP. Lately I have been thinking of selling my 62mm TB, skipping the pulley and tune, selling the M90 setup and just upgrading to a 2300. But, I am not sure how intense that swap may be.
I guess what I am saying is, it depends on what you are looking for. If you are just driving the car around and not drag racing it, get the blower.... you won't regret it. If you don't care about having a household name for a blower, go DOB for best bang for the buck. Sometimes I wish I had a car that I was more willing to 'bastardize" and have more fun with. As far as I can tell, you have no limitations... so consider everything... but the blower is worth it.
And if you can rebuild your current with better rods and pistons, it opens up the potential for you to go above 450whp with less risk.
