Can't figure out how to the remove the metal hoses that the heater hoses from the firewall connects to in to and my Haynes manual does not show it. How do I remove it? It's behind the passenger side cylinder head and runs underneath the intake manifold into the water pump. I need the whole assembly out.

Top view looking down behind passenger side cylinder head. Heater hoses already removed.

You grab it. And pull back
It's slip fit over a fitting out the back of the water pump housing with o rings. Just wiggle back and forth and it should pop right out.

I'll check my metal fitting when I get home. I don't believe it's bolted down anywhere

I can take that part off no problem but how do I remove the metal hose completely? I see no place that it bolts to behind the passanger side cylinder head.

I think there's a retaining bracket near the back of the head, on the back of the block. Hard to see it with the intake manifold in place. Why do you need to remove the lines?

Heres what it looks like on the back of the tubes, circled hole is where its bolted

If i were a betting man, id say 10MM bolt head, MAYBE 13mm, its almost always one or the other on our car

Thanks man, I was able to finally get it. It was a pain getting that bolt out. It is a 13mm bolt.
