Was curious if anyone has a set of forgestar 19x11s on a 2007. The pics on AM make it look like +56mm makes them stick out and I dont want that. ordering a set soon and was wondering what offset you guys are running.

THANKS!

11" wide is getting pretty close to the widest you can fit back there without having to flare the quarter panels or necessarily having to modify the shipping tie-down brackets for ease of tire removal, but it is possible. I have 18x11 Forgestars and I did do the tie-down bracket mod (I left the portions that the bump stops use).

At the rear, it's very close to flush with 285/35-18 tires.

There is no way to fit 11" wide wheels or tire sidewalls fully under the sheetmetal up front with conventional struts (Cortex carries some one-off struts that might get 11's under the fenders). But if the tread isn't much wider than 10" at least the tread will be under the metal and you won't get too much trouble it with pebbles tossed up by the tires. 19" vs 18" won't make any real difference and there isn't a lot of wiggle room to juggle offsets either way.

Here's the closest picture I have to looking straight along the side of the car. Looking straight down, if it sticks out at all, you can't tell just by eyeballing it, it really is that close. BTW, axle centering gets very important. If I wasn't actively road-course tracking the car, I probably wouldn't have gone quite that extreme.

Steeda used to (still might, not sure) sell 11" wide 20's with a 63mm offset, and they'd put 315/35/20 tires on them.
Doesn't answer the question on 19's, but the offset should be pretty close, regardless if 19's or 20's.

You'll want a high-50's/around 60mm offset for 11" width.
Might need to buy the Forgestars elsewhere since the fitments that AM sells aren't all that's available from Forgestar.

You could have the fenders rolled/pulled without damaging the paint, a good fender guy can make it look totally stock. I use a guy out of Houston that flys all over the country doing it for all types of vehicles. I bet there is some one similar local to you.

Your rear wheels are 18x11? with 285s? what offset? I will be going 325s in the rear on 19s

Guessing mid-50's somewhere. I don't know the exact number and it's at least possible that F14 wheels for the S197 have used more than one offset (they're custom-machined to any offset over a fairly wide range).

FWIW, the 285/35-18 MPSS tire runs a bit wide (290 mm) and the mild 'stretch' pulls the sidewalls out another 10 mm, so you're basically looking at a 300-section tire with the tread width of a 285.

Your 325's would be an inch wider (give/take a little for your tires' actual dimensions on measuring width, minus about 0.2" for being slightly "squeezed" because "measuring width" for a 325/30 is 11.5"). Your tire section width is going to only be about an inch wider and only half of that will show up on each sidewall shape. You'll get bigger gains in the tread width (around 11.5" vs my 285/35's at 10.2"). But even 11.8" tread is only going to be a little over 3/4" more per side.

At the top of the rear wheelwell openings you have about 13.6" depth, measured to the outside of the sheetmetal. That's a really quick and dirty measurement made in the dark about a minute ago. Anyway, how much is left after you deduct 13" (for the 325/xx tire width) and whatever clearance you're personally comfortable with on the inside?

Keep in mind that this point is only a rough number just to get some thinking started. It may well not be point where the truly shallowest depth exists.

Thanks. I accidentally mistyped. It should be 50mm to mid 50's for flush. at 56mm you are nearly as flush as my 20's are.

My 19x11s are +50 with a 305/35 PSS. I think with the tire they stick out just a little, would probably be better mid 50s like everyone is saying

Those pics on AM seem really weird. A 55-61mm offset is what you will want with 11" wide wheels to fit super fat tires.

Just be aware that not all 325s (or 305s etc) are the same actual width as another brands (or even within the same brand but with different model tires). I went through a huge hassle trying to fit Michelin PSS 305/30/20XLs on 20x10.5 ET45 wheels, even having 3mm milled off the inside of the wheel (making them ET48), and they still rubbed the top of the fender. But those Michelins PSS run MUCH wider than other tires and are much fatter than most other 305s (including the new Pilot Sport 4S) and a lot of brands 315s and 325s (check Tirerack specs).

11" ET56 will pull the tire inboard 2mm more than my 10.5 ET48s and that would probably be close to enough to get them to not rub but I would be more comfortable running an 11" wheel with 58-60mm offset. Steeda recommends a 59mm offset, FYI.

There are some great fitment threads in the GT500 section of another forum cough cough Ess Vee Tee cough cough.

Good luck!

I will be running 325/20/19 INVOs on mine. A buddy of mine said they run thin up top and they did on my 305/30s i have now.
