I am planning to buy a new set of all-season tires for my 2014 Ford Mustang GT Premium. A friend told me to check out Toyo Tires' Proxes 4. Is anybody here familiar with it?

Friend of mine use to swear by them on his SRT 4 neon. I remember them being ok. Has a fair amount of road noise from them. Never drove his car so can't speak for handling or traction. But SRT4 is also 240 HP vs 420 HP

I'm currently running Hankook Ventus S1 Noble2 tires, and they are a great dry weather all season. They handle rain well but have some difficulty on slush and ice. Light snow is ok, deep snow a bit challenging. They are a lot of fun and have good grip for an all season in all but slushy/snowy conditions.

I have Cooper Zeon RS3-As. They exeeded my expectations for traction in dry, wet, and snow.

I am running General G-Max AS-05, ultra high performance all season (M+S) 500 tread rated tires. Very happy. Tire Rack said they are owned by Continental and are essentially a slightly lesser version of the Extremecontact DWS 06. Said I would be happy with either.

I have AS-05 on my 03 GT, fantastic tire for the old 2V 4.6L. I was always curious how they would be with a coyote.

I am running them on an '07, modded/tuned with bolt-ons including cams/4:10's etc. making over 340whp (400hp crank). They are my cold weather tire here in Texas as my summer Goodyear Eagle F1's are known to crack in colder temps.

I am running a square 275/35/20 set-up (G-Max) compared to my summer OEM Shelby GT500 19" wheels/tires (staggered Eagle F1's) and am VERY impressed with the Generals. That's comparing grip (G-Max) in sub 30 degree temps to hot 100 degree days with the F1's that perform at their best in summer heat.

Better ride, much quieter and never been a situation yet to be caught by surprise regarding grip vs. the sticky F1's in summer driving. I drive in cold temps with the Generals as confident as the F1's in the summer.

Not suggesting they are better for ultimate dry summer grip, but no surprises either.
