Is it time for a new 6A636 Oil filter adapter gasket?

And who thought it was a good idea to put a 1" hex on the HP-2010 K&N filter? I have lots of sockets and wrenches, but nothing 1"

Thanks. Have you ever had to replace your adapter gasket? How many miles do you have?

I'm not losing much coolant nor much oil. I think I can probably hold on until next year. What do you think?

Only 92k miles and still have all original engine gaskets. No oil or coolant leaks (knock on wood) but there's a little "sweat" on the driver's side behind the oil filter adapter and under the oil pan rails. I'll leave well alone until I see the first oil drop on the ground.

Thanks. I think I'm going to change it with the next oil change.

The problem I foresee is that unlike a valve cover gasket or a pan gasket, that adaptor gasket has to hold pressurized fluids. I don't want coolant in my oil.
