Hello guys,
Sorry for posting this topic if it is already discussed. I did not find it, may be because I am new here.
My case is the following.
I’ve got the 4.6 from 2010 last month.
It came with ABS, and traction lights on on the dash and ADVANCETRACK SERVICE message.
When we check the car with ODB2 it came up the following error code C1958 - Dynamic Stability Control Valve Front Left Circuit Fault.
I have checked here and there and everywhere it says it is a faulty ABS module. So, I’m removed the cool intake and I am about to unscrew the module and send it for repair.
The questions I have now are can I drive the care after I assemble the parts back without the ABS module?
Will I have brakes?
Can I hurt the Brake Pump since it will remain open because of the missing module?
Can I damage something driving it without a module?
I have read that is drivable but it is without ABS and traction, but as far as I know it is the same case now with the faulty module.
So please advice if you had the same case. I want to wait for an opinion before outing the parts back. Or may be will wait the repaired module and then reassemble.
