My Brembo Wheel setup with new tires. The powder coated wheels look new.

The black Mustang GT one I drove. It is kind of a slot car for sure but I felt not as fast as my 2014. The only car I ever drove faster then the 2014 was a 2020 ZL-1 the salesman let me drive myself. It was an automatic and power really comes on very fast. It's very ez to get it sideways on cool 50 degree roads. Later I drove a Manual with a salesman and it was much easer to control. Just leave it in 3rd. I did drive a Hellcat but policy was, Black Key only at 500hp. No different then a 4400 lbs Scat Pack. Actually I loved the dark green ZL-1 but it had $15,000 worth of options I would never use. At the time, a Base 2020 ZL-1 was around $60,000 out the door. If the Ford dealer was going to give me $25000 for the 2014, I am sure he would have it on the lot at $30,000 plus. A 19000 mile one owner car never in rain or snow. Then no matter what anyone says, those GT500 brakes all around look great with the base wheels. I am sure I am going to sell my Brembo wheel setup.

I will give you that, the tuning is very conservative from the factory with lots of throttle lag.

That’s the nice thing about pushrods they make lots of torque down low. I like that more than high rpm power. I wish Ford would put a pushrod in a mustang. With the way things are going I think that’s unlikely.

Now is a really bad time for buyers of Mustangs, wait until the end of the year when housing prices take a dip, and my guess they’ll be offering discounts although interest rates will be a little higher.

They are effected by the computer chip issue, as well, and truckloads are just sitting like the Superdutys.

Is it true there are cars done without chips? I know all new VW Diesels went to Rochester NY to die. The Seldens might be dead but they are still around.

To each their own...I just like having a Mustang that looks like a Mustang. Nicer interior probably, but the 2015+ models look more like Fusions than anything else. The rear ends especially look horrendous. The 13/14 models definitely have the best tail lights of any year and are super unique for that.

It is the difference between a $60,000 Mustang and a $30,000 Mustang. Or maybe a $50,000 Mustang to a $25,000 Mustang. Roush Stage Three says 1G all the way around and so does Ferrari. I have worked up to this. Then 255/45 18 Run Flat Tire limited for sure. At .87G, I hear the ABS kicking in.

That would at least be consistent with your comments in another thread about cornering g's.

I wish I could figure out what you really want to be doing here. New? Used? Update your own car?

Well updating is the cheapest for sure. The question is, what should be updated and what is out of reach vis the 2021 cars? I notice the GT-500s do not use the strut tower brace. I noticed a big difference when I installed mine that I got for $100. Then at least with the 2012 GT500s, just because it's a 5.4 supercharged, does it mean it's much faster then a Coyote. The big HP numbers come with the 2013. The big brakes also come with the 2013s. Then CarMax does leather seats. Although they look cheap vinyl to me.
