one of those on the shock tower goes down to motor mount on the passenger side
Sorry for the 3 year later question, but I rebuilt my engine and failed to notate exactly where this connected. I have it on the back stud on my valve cover, is that the correct spot?There is usually one attached to the back of the driver side cylinder head on a stud. The other end of the strap connects to the firewall where the black plastic cowl meets the metal.![]()

The dedicated engine ground connects from a stud on the back driver's-side of the engine, a bit below the lip of the valve cover. If you have big hands, good luck, it's tight in there. Don't have a pic or measurement but I had to put my whole hand down there a ways. It's connected to the head/block not the cover.
