Well, 3 1/2 months after my accident, I went to the track on 5/25/09 (LA Invasion) and made 6 passes. Best MPH was 131.28mph.
The track was actually ok--not great but not bad. I need to relearn the lights (R/T ranged from .054/.095/.116/-.035/-.095) so basically I was all over the place. I also need to get used to shifting the new transmission, as sometimes I shifted early, sometimes late.
Based on the 330 time I just got at Irwindale two days ago (4.227), this car should easily turn a high 10.2X when everything gets sorted out.
Good news is the accident has not effected my track manners at all. I feel right at home doing 130+mph in 10 seconds--not nervous at all. I still get nervous on the freeway though when I am pulling the trailer and get next to Semi's.
