Airbag light flashing

I just bought this 2006 mustang I’ve already post stuff on here about and. I got some more questions. the air bag light flash a couple times then stays on.The passenger side air bag is crack in the dash so u can see the bag. Would that make that light flash. And also the floorboards on both sides leak every time it’s raining there always wet. I’ve check the passenger cowl and it seems fine. I am missing my cabin air filter. Does anyone know any solutions.

Only a scan tool can tell whats going on. But it sounds like the bag deployed for whatever reason and got stuffed back in (or cut out)

That is most likely now what is causing your light. Have you had it scanned?

Yeah, that looks like the airbag deployed and someone stuffed it back in.

Can I get a new one to replace it. It doesn’t look blown thoe the sides seals are still good.

Airbag light flashes the code before it stays on solid.
Turn key, start counting. IIRC, it flashes the code twice.
