Whelp ... Just when I thought I was getting past my watch obsession...dammit! That's a NICE collection!

I've never heard of Tutima before, but those are pretty sharp looking.

What's the one where your sitting in traffic?
That is a Hanhart 417es flyback 1954, a hand-wound chronograph.

Hanhart was issued to higher ranking German pilots during and after the war. Steve McQueen's personal wristwatch wasn't the Rolex Daytona that he endorsed publicly. The Hanhart 417es flyback was rare back in the day and McQueen sought one out when he was filming in Germany and paid for it with his own money.

Mine is a modern reissue. Hanhart, based in the Black Forest near the Swiss border, hand-builds each timepiece in a small room by a handful of craftsmen.

Here's another shot of mine.

I have the same watch was a gift from the wife a number of years back. Have to have it serviced.
The Explorer 2 is my favorite travel watch. It doesn't stand out as much as the submariner, and I like the GMT complication.

Lots of nice watches in here. You all have some very nice collections.

I've got a couple I wear frequently, nowhere near the price tag of these, but they get lots of compliments.

This one is metal and wood. I've got one at home that's all wood.

I've got a thing for wood accessories. Sunglasses look like wood, watches made with wood. My wedding ring had wood in it, but it's long gone now.

As with everything in life, personal preference and obviously what you can afford…

I have been wearing Rolex for over 30 years, it's just what I like.

My daily is an early (exposed pins) Rolex Submariner. For special events (weddings & funerals) it’s my two-tone Rolex Yacht Master. For working on my cars, cutting grass etc it’s Casio and Columbia watches.

Ironically, my Casio and Columbia watches keeps better times… lol
