Glad it's running. Now try to keep it out of the elements if you can. Check and clean the rubber water drains (one each side) on the lower firewall in the engine bay. Also check the upper window seals. It's often the case that they're clogged or the window seals are bad which allows water to get to the SJB which is the source of the problem. Otherwise, enjoy the car and hopefully symptoms don't reappear.

Good move having the bad pins redone. Did he say that some of the traces were visibly damaged? If not, try out the repaired SJB and if issues persist, then look into replacement or refurbishment. There are a variety of sources you can search for.
Hi! i found a couple businesses that apparently are well known on forums: UpFix and Module Repair Pro...

Does anyone has experience with those?

Hey! I did check the rubber water drains...fortunately they were clean. Thank you for the tip.

Also, a week ago i got trapped in heavy traffic and rain (yes, rain in December) at night. So, wipers, lights and engine fan were all "on" (i turned off A/C and radio) and sure enough the gremlins came back as soon as I left the traffic and started accelerating...but to my surprise, jerks were almost imperceptible. I only became aware of them since PATS flashed and the beep came back like 3 times...but the engine never died and i just kept driving at constant speed...and then nothing...no more jerks or beeps.

So, obviously damage is still there but controlled. I´m now considering sending the SBJ to the USA to have it fixed.

UpFix, Module Repair Pro? Any suggestion?

Btw...i bought a new engine fan: Dorman 620-137...do think this would help a little?? I didn´t find the 7 blade one you suggested fro the GT500...but this seems OEM 6 blades and being new it could run more efficiently and stable than the 20 year old original one.
