Bought a set of Pirelli Zero...next week they are going to be installed. Also did my "homework " here in my garage... I installed a set of Camber Bolts from Mevotech, because the car will be aligned when the new tires will be installed. And the right front camber was more than 2 deg negativ. So now with the Camber Bolts.. both sides show a camber of approx. 0.75-1.00 deg negativ..

Actually yesterday (Saturday, April 18, 2026) went to the National Mustang Day event for MOCSEM, started the day at Flat Rock Assembly Plant where the Mustang is built. Had a police escort for about 100 Mustangs parade over to I-275 for a drive to the second location. Steve Saleen was there to deliver a new car to one of our members.

It was raining off and on all day so a lot of club members didn't come out - we were expecting 300 Mustangs otherwise.

I still have the snow tires and winter wheels on the car. It has been too cold to get the summer wheels and tires out of storage (supposed to be mid 30's again tomorrow) but going ahead and the summer tires and wheels are coming out of storage on Wednesday so hopefully the weather cooperates.

Wrapped up a few more loose ends on the Coyote swap. I have been having issues with the car when it gets above 5k rpms. It hesitates and falls on its face.

Problem with that is that the Comp Stg 3 cams are just getting warmed up at that point and I should feel an increase in power, not a decrease. I went back and forth with my tuner and he said the logs to him look clean. This led me to reach out to another tuner for a second opinion. Second tuner said if the logs look clean it must be a mechanical issue. I’ve gone through the setup several times trying to find a mechanical issue. I finally found an issue. The one coil pack had an intermittent issue on cyl 4. I’m guessing this was getting worse because the car kept running worse. I replaced the coil. I also replaced the leaking coolant reservoir, tightened up the x pipe because there was a leak where it meets the headers, discovered the JLT catch can wasn’t properly connected to the manifold (I’ve had this off and on a dozen times while troubleshooting. It was installed correctly at one point.), and I took the time to fasten the air filter shroud with something other than zip ties.

In the end, it all worked out because the car is now running absolutely amazing. I was surprised that I have had multiple new parts fail almost immediately with this build. One crank sensor, the coolant reservoir, and a coil pack (OEM). I guess quality is a thing of the past. One of the reasons I bought everything new was to limit any possible issues…..that isn’t working out so well!

My 2010 got new tires... Conti Sport Contact 7. .. won an alignment, because I changed /renewed all the front end stuf... Coils , dampers..LCAs upper mounts.. aso... and a pinion angle check, because the Car has a DS from Ford Racing ( one piece )

About the tires...changed my mind this morning...and opted for the Contis... the Pireelis are for sale now...
..as you all know- a Pony Drivers work- is never done:)

Received some new goodies for the wife's Shelby.
It always feels so good opening up new car parts :D

BMR upper control arm, Ford Racing diff cover, Ford Racing 3.55 gears and install kit.
I usually hate anything Royal Purple, but gonna install this stuff and use it for break-in, then dump it out after the driving season and get some fresh Amsoil in there.

That stuff stinks like holly hell! Throw it in when you do the Amsoil drain & fill.

It came with the kit from LMR.

Yeah, planning on using it with the RP and then ordering another bottle for when the Amsoil stuff will be going in, even though the Amsoil stuff has built-in friction modifiers too.

It's from the sulfurized olefines in the EP additives. To my nose, the gear oil smell is worse.

No clutch rebuild kit?

The clutch pack was replaced about 8-10 years ago with new Ford parts. Car doesn't get raced and barely sees 1k miles a year, so it should be fine.
