Video is a good way of seeing what others are trying to describe to you concerning your burnouts, staging, and leave.

Plus, we get to see you in the video so............you know.

Ok, gotcha.....

I don't know if I am going to record this now. :omfg:

I'd have trouble sleeping at night knowing that S.D. is "you know" ing himself while watching your (cough) burnout video.

LOL :kidding:

with DR's, you shouldnt need the water box at all. I would just go around it and stage. What I used to do because these cars like to be up in the 3500+rpms to spin without stalling, I would give it a high rev and once you see it at about 4500, take your foot off the clutch and onto the brake while holding the gas at 4k. This worked for me.
Next step is to buy linelocks

Get video.
This is our fellow friend "Skeeter" showing us the propper way to do a "Burn Out"... I'd take pointers from him if i were you!

wow a video of me stalling it when i was still learning how to burn out in second gear e which i've posted on here before so thanks for trying to act tough. That does show that when you don't rev it high enough while doing a second gear burn out it stalls it. But coming on to this site to only post negative stuff just makes you look bad. Go to your own website and talk shit

why do yall say to do a burn out in 2nd gear?

i still have my 3.55's (until monday) and i always did my burnouts in 1st. i bring the RPM's up to 4k, dump the clutch and switch my foot from my clutch to the break. do a 6-10 sec burnout, let off the break and roll up to the tree.

ANYWAY, I appreciate the advice and pointers guys. Things went well today at the track. I didn't get a personal best or a better ET, but I got my burn out down! That was more of my main focus! I tried the 2nd gear burnout at first, but I couldn't keep the RPMs up high enough and kept stalling. I then tried it in first gear and did fine. I just need more practice to fine tune it!

Screw him... Just cuz you have a diff method, doesn't make it wrong.

Glad you had fun. You will get better with practice.

Sorry about all the tire dramma in the pits though. I'm glad John was there to help. Let me know if the DR's are still holding air. They seemed ok after I aired them up.

So what's the next power mod? LOL

Yeah BigMike, not impressed.............

Skeeter, thanks for the tips.......that is exactly what I looked like on the first couple go arounds.......don't worry about that shit head!

Thanks Marc! I should have prepared better I guess! You live and you learn! And thankfully John was there. We were laughing our asses off though while changing the tires out for the 5th time LOL. Oh well, good times!

I believe the next GO FAST will be the LT headers and a mid pipe!!! Any suggestions??

Well, I am a big fan of American Racing. They made some custom stuff for me in the past and I currently have some of their over-the-counter stuff on the car right now.

Every one of their systems are hand made and QA'ed (not mass produced). They make there stuff with high quallity, high purity 304 seamless stainless steel tubing. Also, there is zero fitment issues. Other brand need tweeking to fit around the steering linkage and/or the Catts hang below the frame rails.

They are a bit expensive, but I believe in spoiling myself... LOL

I think some peopls like the Kooks and JBA's. I hear they are very good too, but I have never used them.

I do 2nd gear burnouts because I don't run out of rpm, MPH is higher heating the tires better. I have 4:10 gears, but will be dropping to 3:27 or 3:55, So I'll may have to start in 1st and shift to 2nd.

Its amazing how you make up stories and even more amazing that people actually believe them.....When this video was shot you had owned the car for about a year and were certainly not "just learning" to do shit....Although apparently you need to learn alot. My point in posting it was that you were obviously giving bad advice on a subject you don't know much about......But go ahead guys and take pointers from him, it'll be alot easier taking you out at the track just like skeeter... :idea:BTW you should do a writeup on hitting the traction control button prior to doing a fisrt gear burnout, just thought you would have realized it was still on the first time before attempting again.. LMFAO

My point of me not being impressed is because I don't agree with making an ass out of someone, especially publically and if they don't deserve it!! Maybe you 2 have a beef outside of the forum, but in here no one gives a shit! Take it some where else! It was unnecessary and uncalled for. The whole point of this thread for me was to get advice and guidance......since I am a newcomer to this area, not to see others be made a fool out of for YOUR entertainment. Thanks for giving me a laugh though on how much of a small dicked, immature, and inconsiderate motherfucker you are..........:beerchug2:
