My best this year is 13.705 @ 100.666 MPH in the 1/4. Car had SLP LM axleback, MGW shifter, 255/50/16 M/T ET Street Drag Radial. The time slip just shows R/T, 60' and 1/4 time. My 60' for that pass was 1.9. Here is my youtube vid of that run, it was against a friend of mine's SRT-4. You will hear my Mustang spin on the launch and squak on the 1-2 shift.

I now have a set of 26/11.5/17 M/T ET Street Drag tires on 17*9 Bullitt rims, the ones from American Muscle. I am hoping that those fix my tire spinning issues and some better 60' times. If not, I have some CHE LCA's, adjustable UCA and anti-squat brackets to install.

You guys all have some kick ass times. I have a stock 07 with a good tune and some basic bolt-on mods; #803 on the slips. (www.cardomain.com/id/marcspaz)

Compared to off the showroom floor, I picked up a second with my current setup. This is my first season racing in Foot-Brake E.T. I am having a blast. I am trying to get some sponsors for 08. After the build-up I hope to start getting in to either the Pro Street or Stock class for the coming season...

Welcom marcspaz, it's always fun when you line up next to a 9 sec car to get your first slip; well, not good for your pride, but a nice show to get front row seats to!

Thanks for the welcome. I've read a lot of threads and everyone seems really friendly. Always a big plus. I am looking forward to getting to know you guys, trading stories, and pickn' your brains for tips and tricks...

...and yes, the show was great, but very humbling. It's funny because I thought I was fast :)

Welcome. Where in VA do you live?

Earl

I'm in Woodbridge. It's off of I95 about 25 miles south of DC.

I have been going to Old Dominion Speedway and Virginia Motorsports Park. Kind of a long ride to VMP though...

Yeah, it was a lot of fun. I'm moving to Tallahassee in 2 weeks, which is pretty far from any strip, so idk when I'll get back out.

Good job bro! Nice speeds.

I lived in St. Pete for a while and raced with a 10" Pro Street Gen1 RX7 at a few tracks in the south. Mostly at SUNSHINE DRAGSTRIP , but there are some good tracks near Tallahassee too.

Check out SOUTH GEORGIA MOTORSPORTS PARK - Cecil - 1/4 mile - NHRA about 80 miles away.

BREAKAWAY DRAGWAY - Fountain - 1/8 mile - IHRA about 95 miles away.

and one of my personal favorites (all day events at 150 miles away) GAINESVILLE RACEWAY - Gainesville - 1/4 mile - NHRA

Good luck with the move.

Thanks a lot for the info. I'll be sure to check em out when I get some free time away from my training. I've been hired as an Air Traffic Controller at Tallahassee Regional Airport.

Hell, you're going to be working right on a drag strip. Get a Passport G-Timer and get out there in between flights. That's where our track is...:onfire:

I think they're a lil more strict about who uses the runways here, it's not an AF base haha. I forgot to mention, saw a new Jeep Grand Cherokee srt8 run 11.7 on street tires.
