I did, but in fairness you would say that as you are selling the CJ springs! No-one knows for sure, irrespective, their is logic the V6 springs will aide launches in a similar way - as you say, the CJ springs are softer. And, the CJ is based upon a V6.

NO, i'm saying that b/c we did hours of research to find this information before we even brought them in. The Cobra Jet springs also lower the car 3/4" in the front a 1/2" in the rear. It's not just b/c we're selling them. If they were V6 springs I'd say "hey, their V6 springs" but they are not. I've got no reason to say otherwise. It's a great performance product that will improve your track times.

Damn it. I just got these springs a couple days ago, and I don't want to lower my car one bit. Anyone know if there are any spacers you could put on the spring perch.

So if they aren't V6 springs...what is the part number on the sticker on the rears?

That means the rears are confirmed as being V6 springs. As I have a used set sitting on my floor I bought a few weeks ago with that exact part #.

According to Dave Zimmerman they are V6 springs.

Dave is The Z in team Z motorsports

He is the one who set up the suspension for the cars and Brian Wolfe just dropped off the 2010 body-in-white cars for cobrajet conversion.

Check it out on www.teamzmotorsports.net

Trust me guys I know this is the internet and anyone can say anything but Brian Wolfe was my neighbor in Canton, MI during his pro 5.0 days. I went to high school with Nancy. (his wife) I grew up in Ford country. All my neighbors were Ford Engineers.

I have a set I picked up for £10.00 ($16) I love this 'mod' because for once it has'nt cost me a fortune - whatever i buy from the US I pay transa Atlantic shipping, tax, insurance etc. EVERYTHING costs loads! These springs if they cut my 60 are almost free! Cant wait:beerchug2:

yea I got the last 2 letters switched...sorry
Here are the numbers right off the springs for those that want to go parts hunting...
front 6R33 5310-FA ( weird)
rear 5R33-5560-AC
Those are the CJ springs front and rear
Dave

The 6R33 5310-FA is the same spring that came on my base 2007 Mustang GT Deluxe (Data Tag Code FF). All 2005-2009 4.6L cars use the same front spring rate. The difference is the free length of the springs and that should be the shortest of them.

5R33 5560-AC (Data Tag Code AA) is the same rear spring as the base V6 Coupe and Bullitt. All non-GT500 Coupes used the same rear spring rates the difference is the free length. That spring is 12mm shorter than the BC (Data Tag Code BB) that came on my base 2007 Mustnag GT Deluxe. It should be the shortest 2005-2009 Coupe Rear Spring in inventory

Thats assuming the numbers given are accurate.
