It Happens
I'm a drummer and have been in bands for about 10 years. I was just wondering if anyone else on here plays? It seems like musicians love to work on hot rod cars and bikes. Or at least the do in Lancaster S.C.

It is a lifestyle. I hope I can do it for at least anther 20 or 30 years
I've been playing guitar/synth and singing since 1964. I have a weekend Rock/Classic Rock band. I've had the same personel for over 16 years in it! It is a fun happy lifestyle in my view. LOL
I don't talk it about it at all here but it's a big part of my life. I have spent GIANT amounts of money on PA equipment, guitars, amps, synths, transport vehicles etc.
Guitar player here... I started playing in '62 and was in bands until 1997 when I retired from playing in public, due to health problems.
Now I just build DIY tube powered guitar amplifiers just to stay close to the hobby.
Yup...LOL it sure can be a "Money Pit"... but a lot of fun for sure.
Percussion x 10 years. Just recently stopped playing, due to not having any free time.
My band puts all the money we make back into equipment. That helps but it don't matter where the money comes from. It's still a big deep pit. The cost of being on stage I guess.

Guitar, Tuba, Sax with a little Bass and Trombone...
Lately just guitar... Easiest to play around the house...
Haven't had the time to play anything organized for a long time...

The London Project, sounds great! Kind of a Pink Floyd feel to it. Nice!Guitar, Tuba, Sax with a little Bass and Trombone...
