now instead of using lockouts why couldn't v10 phasers be used ? or was it just cheaper to lock them out ?

The 01 PCM cannot control the VCT at all. So you have to use lockouts.

I got your PM, ill give you a ring tomorrow afternoon

I thought v10 3v's didn't have vct though ? so basically its a stock " lockout " that should bolt right back in place .... now I'm just talking out my ass and can be way off on this but in my simple logic it seems too easy to be true .....

I know the V10's dont have VCT, I believe it is an entire gear with them, not just a lockout.

Same here, I am unsure. lol

EDIT: Anyone have pictures of the V10 gear?

Yes I do .......but you know me S. D. can't ever do shit the easy way

I actually have 4 options
1 buy the ford motor harness " kit " complete
2 put lockouts in the damn thing and do it like everyone else and quit being a hardass
3 comp adjustable cam gears / modular camponets setup
4put what I initially started out wanting to install into the damn thing and forget i ever heard the words " mod motors ".

HAHAHAHAHAHA I fail no longer I finally remembered where it was I saw it at .........

The kit consists of exhaust adapters so that commonly available 2V exhaust components can be used. It comes with a TB adapter to adapt a regular cable driven pre-'05 Cobra throttle body to the 4.6 3V Mustang manifold. There is also a fuel rail pressure sensor adapter so that the '99-'04 pressure sensor can be used in the '05 and up Mustang fuel rail. The only other thing needed is the Modular Camponents adjustable cam gears to eliminate the Ford variable valve timing. These can be purchased through Logan Motorsports or directly from Blow By Racing.
