I wonder how much Borlas weight...

I'm running stingers as well, they certainly FEEL a lot lighter than the stock mufflers and GTAs. But I run those for the sound, not for the weight savings--that would just be a bonus.

Other weight savings exhaust ideas--straight pipes w/ no cats :)

Did you get a sparco steering wheel yet? you would love the feel! lol

What weight reduction methods have you done so far?

I remember you said you had some sparco seats

Na, not yet...been dying to get one lol

Yeah, i have Sparco EVO 2s (yeah im a chubbb)

I've hollowed out every bolt that does not hold in a vital component, drilled holes throughout the car, removed windowshield wipers, run low brake & powersteering fluid.......LOL NOT

Pretty much everything that you have to be honest. the only differences are in the areas that seperate our type of racing such as brakes, suspension and wheels/tires

I have also removed random brackets and whatnot from the car, can't even remember the actual parts that i removed since it was a LONGGGGGGGGG time ago

Yeah, you'd better not build a road course car...then you'd be hooked and spend even more money on these fucking cars!

Not sure, still need to get it weighted but I added all the weights I took off and subtracted it from 3450. Should be around 3300 with me in it.

Could be way off though, the watts link and procharger added a good 100lbs... So it's hard to say and I don't like to "guess" weights.

I plan on getting front & rear aluminum bumper beams which should save about 30lbs. I will also remove the rear fuel evap canister which is around 25-35lbs(can't remember exact weight).

Other than that there's not much left to do for me. If I can find lightweight rear rotors then I would get those, but have not had much luck.

I've also been thinking of removing the windshield washer fluid resevioir as I NEVER use it...
