I priced out things I'd need from Metco yesterday, finished out with a grand total of about $840 (before tax and shipping) for non-adj LCAs, Adj UCA, Relocation brackets, and HD UCA Bracket. I wanted to know what the everyone here is running as far as LCAs, UCA, Upper Bracket, and Relocation Brackets (and Anti-roll bar, etc. if applicable). I know LCAs have been beat to death, but I want to know the [full] set up of people who have what I listed, (at least UCA, LCAs, brackets, and DS) And where they got them from (and price) if they choose to say or can remember. I was about to pull the trigger on Metco stuff, which I know is made of high quality material, but I want to see what other set ups you guys are running. I hope this thread benefits others as much as it'll help me. Thanks everyone. (vendors, please chime in if you'd like as well) :thumb:

Matt-how do you like the QA1 shocks, is your car a daily driver and if so what do you use for DD and then what do you use at the track?

I don't dailey drive my car, but it does see the street. When I turn the qa1's all the way to soft the car has no bounce on the street. When I have it turned 2-3 turns it's rough lol. I just leave them full soft on the street and then make them stiffer at the track

Can you feel the difference when you adjust the shocks-I know you say it is rougher on 2-3, do you ever romp on it on the street and you can tell it is on the soft setting?

Matt, what DS do you use? and why don't you use LCA brackets? I was actually gonna PM you on that a few days ago, but I figured I start this thread to let us know what the "master" is using. haha. :thumb2:

FWIW, Matt Lined it up perfect. I forgot to mention springs and shocks, since I already have springs (not shocks yet, but nonetheless, feel free to add help on that), But that's the way I'd like people to state their set up. However, I'm not gonna say you can't post it in any other form, just saying that's what I feel can be most helpful for us. Thanks again everyone.

I purchased all of my CHE products a while back through Dyno Joe at some insane pricing. I'm not sure, but I believe I purchased my driveshaft from either Dyno Joe or direct from Spydershaft. Everything has been holding up well since 2007, but needs to be re-greased. There are plenty of vendors here that can hook you up on great deals with parts!

Also, my computer just recently crashed, and I just got it running again today. I have all my prices on my external hardrive, and if I remember I will post the prices later.

To be honest I couldn't tell you. I always have it on soft for the street. At the track you can pick up sixty foot by making it stiffer. I played with that dial all day at the track lol

I use the axle exchange drive shaft. I don't use the relocating brackets because I feel I don't need em. (I did buy a set though xD never put them on) I am far from being a master but Im always happy to tell people what I use for parts and my honest opionion on them. Love your Sig quote by the way :roflmao:

My goal is to get a 1.58-1.6 sixty foot on a drag radial and lower 1.5's on my bias ply

I'm going to be using ET Streets for next years SST at Houston, but fuck, you're one of the masters in my book man. Even though you're a fucking year younger than me.... :roflmao: And are the FRPP springs lowering springs or just replacements for stockers?

They are actually lowering springs. Stock springs probably work just as good though. I just hate the jacked up look lol

Can I ask what your end goal is for the Houston event?

I ask because I thought I would need more than what I have in order to hook and have decent times.

I have the Steeda Ultralite springs that I got just to get rid of the 4X4 look, MRT adj panhard, BMR fixed LCA....and that's it. Granted, I still have the 3.31's with a 28" tall tire, but I have no spin at all on launch and my 60's are in the 1.7x range.

Guess what I am saying is that you may not need to spend $840 if you didn't want to.

My goal? to hook. lol. that's about all. It's not like I have the cash to go ronuds at various events in my dead solid 15.00 v6 car (current haha) but I just wanna see what other people are running because I have a $350 veterinarian bill to pay by next week and I want my suspension parts as well. haha. I'd just like to have a consistent car and before I add my HSW kit, I'd like to have a solid, consistent, and reliable suspension set up.

Steeda non-adj LCA + brackets
CHE Adj. UCA + mount
Rear coil overs + C. eng. 3 way adj shocks
Alumn shaft

... and in the garage waiting to be installed...
BMR Antiroll bar
BMR Panhard bar

The car hooked great with the Nitto Drag radials, but as they've become almost bald now, the car hops a bit, but thats because of the tires.
