Ok I have right now stock 17 rims with a 245-45-17 tire. I will be going with the GT500's with a 255-45-18 tire. My question is this will I be sitting the same height or not? I don't want to be any higher than I am sitting at now. i don't have it lowered but it's in the future.

You will be going from a 25.7 to a 27 inch tall tire... so you will be raised up about a half inch or so...

Won't be TOO bad. Put a nice drop spring would really set the car off and make it look awesome on those wheels.

Sweet I may order the FRPP springs with a 1.25 drop then. But then I wonder if that would rub

get 275/40R18's...26.6inch tall and fill out the wheel to tire width perfect. fits the 9.5" wheel accordingly

Would those be the same height that I am running now? 245-45-17... Plus the rims I am getting are 18x9 all the way around

The GT500 rims are 18x9.5 255/45/18 would be a good choice as it's the stock tire height. I also had 245/45/17 on my car. They were too short. I hated the look.

Yeah the 245/45/17 are to short but I like the height they give so kinda want to stay right there. I was told going with the 255/45/18 will raise the car 1 1/2 inchs. Don't want to raise it want to lower it but suspenion is the next step. So that's why I am looking for tires that will keep the same height

im telling you go with 275/40R18's...they fill the wheel wells when your lowered and are the perfect width for a 9.5" wheel. steeda suggest using the 275/40R18's on there wheels and i have the PENTAR's. ill try to post pics soon so you can see how they look.

255/45/18 will fill the wheel well much better than the 245/45/17. I should know, I had the 245/45/17 and now I have 255/45/18 and 285/40/18.

Actually, it will raise the car 1/2 of the difference of the two diamteters, or 0.65", not 1.3".
