I am just trying to keep up with you Mark. You are the fastest customer car til someone beats you so keep up the good work. I like being on this team too.
Adam tried to talk me into the KB 2.8 but I wanted something different so I asked him to make this thing work. He has something else in the works that is TOP SECRET for now though.

We (team ST) already have the fastests twin screws in the country. By next season, our twins screw stable will consist of an 8 sec world record car, two 9 sec daily drivers, and three mid to low 10 sec daily drivers.

Yep - Team ST is dominating the S197 world...:allhail:

I'm almost positive I'm going to be asked to slow down at Irwindale on Thursday. I just may be sub 6.39 this week and have a 9 sec daily driver and I haven't even put the 2.8 on yet...lol:shock:

Look forward to seeing you on Thursday. I'll bring a camera!

Good point about traction. That 3.4 is going to hit hard. Make sure you strap in tight guys. Dean that goes for you too.

Yeah,I had the sweet deal for Ken. Jim was gonna hook him up on a 2.8lh,but Ken had to be difficult. Must be nice to be RICH!!! All this fab work aint no joke ,should of put the KB on his car when he wasnt looking:clap:. Made some progress on the car last night, but its going to be time consuming to get this finished up.

can't judge a book by its cover

Actually you cant see it inside, but its all welded up in the corners. Its not a sharp angle as it appears. There is a nice radius on the short side of the blower inlet as well. This is just a mockup mani, but should work well none the less. The reason I chose to put the tbody on the right is for clearence reasons. The mani can be built bigger and I can keep the stock hood on the car. I am relocating the computer, but the fuse box will stay where it is. I thought about a cross over inatke pipe, but I chose to go down through the right front fender area to limit the bends. I should have most of the other work done today. As for the t-body,we are using the Big Mouth one Ive been selling. I also have acces to a 105mm and 120mm mass air meter to try out. This should haul ass, well,I make sure its just a tad slower than mine:leghump:. Should have it at Irwindale this Thursday for a test run,and Famoso on Sat.All I know,is this car will need to get certed by the end of Sat.

It looks awsome and just from an engineering point of view since instead of making the outside the radius, you welded it in, I guess before "stiching up" the mani side so that it is attached to the top and bottom plates, is that right? ANy way you cut it, it's an outrageously good idea and I ma sure you can "make" perform flawlessly

update

Well the car is coming along pretty well. Just not enough time in the day.Heres an update on the progress:

pcm is relocated...near the stock location, modified the stock brackets
inlet pipe is done...very similar to Deans and ChevyKillers
by pass valve relocate is done...took 2 trys to get this but its good now
adapter plate to blower...almost done, still needs a little more welding
1 inch shorter drive installed on blower

So far it all fits under the stock hood. I will know for sure tomorrow on the pulley clearing the hood, but pre-mocks show it will.
Here are a few more pictures. If all goes well, all the fab work should be done tomorrow night. Then we need to get the pulley alignment done and hit the rollers.
Pictures are in order with description.

You can see where I milled down the original flange and cut out the top portion on the blower adapter plate to accept a new flange that fits the 3.4l. The 3.4l uses the uderside of the blower cas as a plenum,so it was best to open this up.

The by pass valve hole was plated and welded since I relocated it to the rear of the blower manifold.

The adapter plate with the new flange semi attached(note where I built up the weld in the gap so it could be blended).

This is after blending the front and grinding the sides(I will get the side and rear plates done tomorrow).

This is a picture of the Whipple Shelby inlet manifold. I was going to chop that up and make it work, but it seemed like it would be more work. By making my own inlet manifold,I got rid of all the speed bumps in the manifold as well as making a better short side radius before the rotor and creating some extra volume on the back side.

The next is a bottom view of the blower adapter plate after some blending.

The last is the intake pipe. Its a straight shot to the rad support with one long smooth radius bend(perfect for a straight charge of air).

I don't get you Kenny, you pour plenty of pennies into the stang, but drive a pos Taurus that leaks PS fluid like a woman on a high flow day; guess it's true that money and eccentricty go hand in hand :hammer:

Don't be insulting my SABLE by calling it a Taurus. And the reason it leaks is because I have no time to fix it. Too busy tring to make more money to pay Adam.

update

Well I got all the fab work finished, and sat the blower on last night with a drive and 3.375 pulley. The stock hood cleared with almost an inch of clearance. We are actually installing the blower on the car now,so it should run tonight. Ill post up some more pictures in a few.

Hey Ken.....Head up for a C-NOTE!!!!!! and NO CHEEAATTING AGAIN!!!
