Just make sure the clutch TSB has been done if you get one out of warranty.

Im not sure what color I want to go with yet if I decide to get rid of the Bullitt. Thats what makes me not want to get rid of it is the color. I love the Highland Green and there are not too many in that color. The Bullitt gets compliments all the time when its out and about.....

I was thinking of a 2010 in all red (minus stripes), all black sounds badass too as jeff mentioned. Decisions, decisions......the girl gave me permission today to get whatever I wanted as long as it wasnt insane in price so...we will see.

Finished up the valve covers today, motor is pretty much ready to drop in. I should have it back in place tomorrow night.

That right there is just wrong. You are starting this relationship out the wrong way. You need to start training her to ask you for permission before it's too late. Although it may already be too late.........

Well I ultimately make the decision but I promised her I was done after the blower build and that I would invest more time and money into my new place and on a vacation for me and her....and lets just say since I blew my motor that i have put both on the backburner. So I feel its only fair....

Shes a good girl and doesnt hassel me much about the car, even though my car gets most of the attention.

if she's important, take her on a vacation. The motor will build up and it'll soon be back to where you had it. Gonna be a process, but it will come.

You should paint the VC's hulk green, as a commemorative to the old motor

If the car has the problem and is out of the 3 year warranty period for bumper to bumper then you get stuck fixing it.

This is true, I actually really like the black valve covers.

lol it wouldnt bother me, then while she was on vacation I could purcahse the GT500 and at least get some exhaust, pulley, and tune done to it....but Ive actually already said I would take her on vacation before I finished the car, but she wants the car done first.

Have fun with washing your car every other day....Black is awesome while your washing it but once you turn your hose off you see the dust... I want silver or white i think next...I do like black though just a PAIN to keep "clean". Good luck

yep...and the Mustang is so small that keeping it clean is pretty easy

my Expedition EL is black and I'm tired out by the time I clean 1/2 of that sucker. It's a monster. It alone has killed the thought of ever buying a black vehicle again

Worked on the car tonight... But ran into a few issues so now the motor and trans in sitting to the side of the car, new spec clutch is in. I'll resume tomorrow.
