i tried searching but "member" does really pull up what i need...can anyone give some feedback? im thinking of getting one to hopefully stop this thunking going on in my car! but i want to justify the $500 price tag...is this worth it??? does it really make the front end that much stiffer? and will it stop this noise??? thanks

a k member is not going to stop a "thunking" noise unless a weld has come loose on it someplace. eveything on a kmember is welded so there is nothing on it that can "thunk". and no , It doesn't make it "stiffer" it makes it lighter. I seriously doubt it's your k member giving you problems.

i wouldnt think any aftermarket K member being built specifically for drag racing. i would think they could easily take the stresses of road course duty? am i wrong?

an improperly welded one i could see fail but if it was designed to replace the stocker and be just as ridgid shouldnt it be able to take the forces just as equally?

would love more info. not trying to be an ass, just very very curious

ya your totally wrong . lol have you ever looked at a sn95 or fox mm or griggs k-member ,then looked at a upr or aje unit ? ya , night and Day.

you run some non specific k member on a road course and it's not a matter of " if" it's a matter of "when" .

i havent really seen an sn95 with out a UPR or AJE, do you think if we have one of the BMR or AJE units to weld something to brace it more? i want to buy a k member and BMR looked to be a nice piece but if you think that they are unsafe for a mild autocross/HPDE event car then ill be looking somewhere else. could they be braced more to help in the event of a failure? just looking for some answers and you have been very knowledgable to me and other people on these boards. thanks again!

in my opnion . no. if you positive you want one . spend the extra money. " agent47 "

Have to be honest. you probably don't need it. I seriously doubt you could drive your street car to the ability of being able to need a k-member.

as someone that has been around the scene it's amazing how much you see cars show up with the "load of parts" And wonder why they are not fast.

A k member is not going to make you faster. " I promise"

Cliff notes: A million bucks worth of parts won't mean jack if you can't drive.
