You missed the McRib thread a while back. Funny shit. Started out as a "fat broad backed into my car" post and degenerated into a McRib thread. This place gets warped sometimes. Funny as hell....but definitely warped.

Gawd I do love it though.

Ahah. I just thought it was just more Shelby bashing in which case I would of had to call the guy out on the track :)

FWIW I was calling bullshit on the 750HP 8psi guy too. I have had words with the guy before. I'm sure you noticed that SD but looks like a few here didn't get that part. Furthermore I'm not a member of TS anymore so I really don't give a shit what people say about them. I'd probably be inclined to agree with those posts, but not the ones bashing the cars. I know what they can do on a track(not dragstrip).

I saw where you called bullshit on Mac. The really funny part will happen when I manage to get Patterson into a conversation over several beers at Tulsa. If Shelby is trying to bring some change to the company then that fucked up website will need some changes......mostly in the nazi-admin area. I refuse to apologize for what I posted over there. Fuck 'em....I've forgotten more about going fast than those jackasses will ever know.

I have only had two chances to drive a Shelby GT and both of them were Hertz GT-H cars. Picked the first one up in Nashville and drove it all the way to Bristol to a FFW race. Proceeded to win Ultra Stang with it then drove it back. Next one was in Boston. Drove it to Epping, New Hampshire and won that FFW race too. No problems at all. Good cars and easy to drive/win with. Hell....I'm still looking for them today. Got a thread on that fuckin' board with the numbers of the two cars. Now I can't even see the threads due to that prick admin that banned me.

I am glad to see that Amy is being kicked out the door at Shelby. I have tried and tried and tried to get Shelby into the street car scene since 2007. Even tried to get them to showcase the Performance Parts side but every time we had something verbally agreed upon she would suddenly forget right around mid-February. Right before the season starts in March. I wrote them off this year. Wasn't going to fart with it any longer. Our program could have pushed them right into the heart of Mustang street car racing but for some reason they just don't seem to give a shit. They're more interested in road courses and car shows where the retirement money is playing. Hell of a way to miss a huge opportunity.

Fuck it. I'm not wasting anymore time with them. I have a championship to win.

if anything, your posts will be more than welcome. there are a LOT of people in there who are VERY eager to learn

Thanks for the link. I've been thinking about spraying a lil 75 shot around the track as long as the cylinder temps look ok....kind of a mix of drag racing technology thrown into road racing. Usually the two never cross paths.

sactioning bodies have very strict rules about nitrous in road race cars. most autox events/club track days have a line that says no nitrous bottles on the premises

And we all follow all the rules right ? They don't waste their time checking newer cars. Anyway it was just a thought. Now that they've dropped the price of the Aluminator, I'm just waiting on the Whipple to follow.

I was thinking the same about the whipple, but before xmas, it was 6500 at summit, and now it's 7k... I know it can be had for 6200-6400 still, but thought it was odd that it went up on summit....

Glad they came out with the 9.8 cr aluminator too, that's on my wish list!

And the award for best post in a TS-bashing thread goes to...

Right on man! I am! Warped hood scoop and all. Gives her character! :thumb2:

That McRib thread sounds rather "interesting" too bad I missed it.

Sad face. :(

I don't think I'll ever get to experience the McRib. It was older than my generation.

Other things you missed:
•Shag Carpet
•Custom Vans
•Changing the channel on the TV for your dad by getting up and going over to the TV
•Setting the points
•Pulling the Choke
•the aroma of unburned hydrocarbons (no cats)

Others please add your own. Should we make this a new thread in "Pitstop"?
