"JPC got their 2011 GT Tuesday evening from the dealership. From there it went directly back to the shop and right onto the dyno - what a great way to break in a new vehicle. Stock they were able to push right at 350 RWHP on on the Mustang. From there they concentrated their time on the rear end - 4.56:1 gears, 31 spline axles with C-clip eliminators, and a spool. Looking around the shop to see what else they could put on the 'Stang, they came across an old Bassani 3" X-pipe and 2.5" race mufflers - while retaining the stock catalytic converters. "We couldn't even get a K&N filter in it, the local places were out of them," said Godfrey.

With the new-found bolt-ons in place, they managed to pick up some power, now netting 372hp to the rear wheels"

So if I have this right, neither evo or jpc are running stock axles or carrier? If thatsthe case that really sux the factory rear ends can't handle sticky tires

We're running Stock Axles and Gears.. we just changed out the diff because the stock one couldn't take all the abuse!

The Dyno #'s advertised stated "Up To" all of our Supercharger packages have a race tune option with C16 and that's what the numbers represent!

HAHA I have the stock carrier and I dump my car at 6,000 some and never less than 5,000. Not saying that it will hold up for others but seems to be doing fine now. LOL

Congrats to EVO and JPC. Both companys make me want to trade in my 08 and get a 2011!!!

Wow. Ok here's the low down guys. Our car is not a race car. We made due with what we had around the shop in 24 hours time. Just because it has a spool doesn't mean it's not a street car. You'll see it all weekend driving around Ocean City at the Cruisin with the 4.56's and spool and we're making a few more changes before the weekend. This is a high reving 4valve engine we all know gears work. We have a 1.1 5th gear like a race prepped trans. AWESOME, use it. Nothing race duty about the suspension either.

4.56 gears
31 spline axles
Spool
This is a rear we had laying around done. That's the only reason a spool was used. And yes you can drive a spool on the street. Did it for years. It's the only way to do it.

its a type of rear end differential, typically a race car mod, they are not very street friendly.

Whereever this mudslinging goes, it just convinces me more that a 2011+ with a few bolt ons and suspension changes is going to give me one heck of a daily driver, and let's me continue to leverage the '05 platform for racing challenges. To me, this is just a testament to Ford engineering at it's best. I mean god damn, within days or weeks of getting the car, tuners are putting it into the 11s, then 10s. What's next, easy street 9s?
