We had the car out at the Milan NMRA race with good results for the weather. 3200-4000ft da 90 deg temps 70% humidity. Set up at this event was

Bogart Rims w/ 26x10x15 Slicks
4.56 gears w/ spool & stock axles
Stock Converters w/ x pipe welded in and Bassani Mufflers
Stock Air Filter
Diablosport Base Tune install at Track. No dyno time

FULL STOCK INTERIOR including driver seat

1.570 60ft
4.814 330ft
7.514 1/8
91.29 mph
9.861 1000ft
11.851 1/4
113.28 mph

It was hot

Just ran the car last night w/ no other changes except track and weather.
Still full interior including stock driver seat

1.540 60ft
4.749 330ft
7.426 1/8
92.58 mph
9.745 1000ft
11.698 1/4
116.38 mph

Not to shabby. No we need headers or at least get rid of the cats, a driveshaft and some dyno time. Video will be posted up soon enough

any idea what gear is gonna be good for the auto cars yet?

28.0 tall tire and a 150 shot next , HEHEHEHEEE

We will be making all upcoming runs with full interior, car needs more gear at current power level but when we start making more power it will be ok.

We already did the 28's. More nitrous maybe in the future we need to get to the tuning part and cool things like driveshafts and no converters LOL

Hard to say. I would say a minimum of 4.30's on all these cars but 4.56's if you want the bang for the buck, these cars make power to the rev limiter unlike the 3v. Time will tell as we start making more power then the ratio's will change some as you know. Congrats on the new ride!:thumb:

On 8 lbs of boost and an almost perfect weather night in November my car did the time in my sig. Which has been blown away with all y'alls (vendors) cars. WoW...

I haven't said much up until now about the new 5.0s, but holyhellNcrap...Insane...

Was waiting for the 50th anniversary in 2014, but maybe not now.

Tommy Im confused was this car a manual or a factory automatic 6 speed . I thought the 1st video I saw of the car was a 6 speed manual ?

So did you guys already go 10s on the bottle with the factory automatic tranny?


Maybe I missed something , either way Im happy to see you guys taking that approach , wow with the full interior in the car its fast right out of the box . Im loving it . Maybe I should go buy another white stang , Heheheheh.

Damn looks like even us boosted 3v's are going to be rundown by 5.0!! Imagine when they get the rest of boltons plus power adder!!

Kind of depressing when you think about it, all the money I spent on my car and an n/a 5.0 will be able to run with it with bolt ons the way it's looking. Too bad I can't get a decent amount for my car or I would own an '11 even though the ass is fugly

I may be the only one here that is like this, but I only dislike the rear in pictures. But in real life I actually don't have much of a problem with it. Sure I prefer the older rear still, but it's kind of weird that in person I find it to look a lot better. Weird.

I do hope someone is working on better shaped tail lights and some bumpers to go with them. Making the lights not "curve" up would help a lot me thinks.
