Messing with my tune

I have had my Stang to the dyno shop 2 times for this problem. WOT car is perfect! Driving normal or rolling onto the throttle it is perfect. I get on it kind of hard 70% throttle and it will ping!
Its like the nox sensors can't react fast enough.
I had a sct tuner with a BlowByRacing tune that was close to perfect but my Dyno tune got me an extra 10 hp, sometime I wish I wouldn't have sold my sct and had my BBR tune back in it...

It has nothing to do with the the KNOCK sensors reaction. They can be turned on and off depending on the tuner. There is also a defined window in which they detect knock. That Window can also be "tuned" by the tuner. All a knock sensor does is pull out spark that can also be defined by the tuner.

I had bought a Predator so my local dyno shop could tune my car. I think that was a mistake.
The predator is an awesome tuner... I just miss my BBR tune.

It gets frustrating when a person drives 1 hour each way for the dyno tune to find out there is no change.

I highly recommend that you go back to your previous setup up, in my opinion a 10 HP gain is not worth having a Knock problem. BUT if you want to keep the dyno tune than just have your tuner take some spark out around your problem area (70% throttle and whatever rpm you think knock exists).

If the car is pinging or knocking at 70% throttle than it's doing the same at 100% throttle. Who's this tuner? Either way, I'd buy another SCT Xcal2 or 3 and let a reputable tuner tune it...

VMP Tuning will also update their tunes.
