Yup. Parts started arriving today. Im still have to order a few more. Its nothing real serious, but will give the car a different look. Im aiming for a sort of "stock" look.

I drive the car daily so I want the comfort and dependibility, but at the same time want performance...at least until my money situation gets a little better and then I will go nuts again...

Here is the list so far...

-GT500 Front Struts
-GT500 Strut Mounts
-GT500 Rear shocks
-FRPP K-Springs
-Magnaflow Axleback (Traded Corsas, wanted something a little quieter)
-FRPP Bullitt CAI with Ford Racing Aluminum Air Shield and 90mm MAF Housing (Gives the stock Bullitt like CAI appearence w/ a little more breathing room)
-I've since downgraded back to a set of stock polished 18" Bullitts
-1" Billet Wheel spacers to put the tires flush with the fenders since they arent all that wide.

Motor has been giving me issues, so I also have a TPS coming possibly fix the ongoing problems that have plagued the new motor.....much more goods to come.

Until Mr. Cates over at Ford finds me what Im looking for yes....I test drove a new 5.0 and wasnt too impressed with it. Im not about to take on a $600/ month car payment to have one either....my finances a tight enough.

My current dilema is with the wheels....Ive never been a big fan of chrome and I've been thinking about spraying the a flat black. Any thoughts on this? Or should I just keep them polished.

The ride wasnt too bad and the handling was ok on the car. Performance wise I thought it was great. Just the overall feel of the car made me feel like I was sitting in my own, there are a few changes here and there, the power being the biggest. But for how much the wanted for it, it just wasnt realistic for me right now. I would have no modding money and it would leave me strapped for cash each month, especially with school coming again.

Plus with the new 5.0s being out all the parts for my car will get a little cheaper....so I rather just keep the bullitt, get it running perfect and pay the damn thing off.

I've thought about the gloss black....kind of like the shelby GTs have, or maybe even a dark grey like my car orginally came with.
