I've watched your video probably a dozen times at least. You can accuse me of being biased if you like, but I'm being logical. LOOK at the movement! ANY movement would be at the BOTTOM of the injector where there's no fuel pressure. NONE! Thinking this will cause a fuel leak is REDICULOUS! It's that simple.

Unbolt your fuel rail and rock it back and forth. You'll see for your self that all the movement will be at the bottom of the injector, not the top. It's not rocket science.

How about vacuum leaks then from the bottom injector o-rings when they wear due to the movement?

Aside from that, I think worries of it cracking are probably fair.

After all the bullshit and name calling....you're agreeing?????

WTF dude......get of your :soapbox: and shut the hell up...LMAO!!

Bottom line is...it should not flex like that and people have a right to be worried or concerned about failure.

Whether Ford fixes the problem or not...no one in this forum will have a say so in it...but don't ridicule people for being concerned over their safety and the safety of the people who ride with them.

Ok so we all have read both sides of the arguement. Lets just agree to disagree and see who is right in the long run. This back and forth shit is proving nothing. We will see if cars start bursting into flames in the next few months.

LOL

It's just a debate with no real winning side since no one is physic (that i know of). Time will tell. Until then, those still running the intake, please keep us updated. I sure won't be a test mule though.

So we've decided Im a knuckle head and screwed my own fuel line up (although I built the entire engine myself and runs fine) and its a non-related issue? Guys, let all your friends know Dale screwed it up, FRPP made an outstanding intake, no worries. Lets all go to walmart and scare little kids.......
I wasn't referring to you. I was referring to the possibility of injectors leaking.

How about vacuum leaks then from the bottom injector o-rings when they wear due to the movement?
That's a fair concern that only time will tell the truth.

I didn't call anyone names, get your facts straight. And I have as much right to not shut up as you do.

I was trying to be nice...what I really meant to say was stop all your pissin' and moaning. You're putting your two cents in just like the rest...but these guys have real issues with this part and you don't seem to give a crap about it.

If THEY think it's crap...let them think it. Certainly no one is stopping you from thinking that the intake is gold plated.

Ah, there you go again...Let's stick to the facts. I never said it was gold plated. Never said it was better than anyone elses. I also don't care if anyone thinks it's crap. If I truly thought there was a real problem with this manifold I wouldn't be defending it. The facts (which are important) are that no-one has had a problem because of the movement. Everyone is speculating and giving this thing a bad rap over "failures" that haven't happened. Nobody has had "real issues" with this. They're uncomfortable with what it does. That's fine, but that's not evidence of a real problem with it. Until a "real" problem surfaces, then everyone's getting all fired up over nothing.

Oh, sorry...LMAO.

The fact is THE FUCKER MOVES AND IT SHOULDN'T!! Do you think it was engineered to move???

IF you think everyone is getting fired up over nothing...then who made you the Fire Marshall for FRPP?????

They're stating their opinions and concerns and you're all but callng them stupid. "not rocket science"..."rediculous"...."the sky is falling".

STOP being so damn condecending......geeesh.

I'm sorry i wasn't aware that you designed the intake. You assume is shouldnt flex even tho a ford rep said it should. Hmmm.

They said it should flex?? That's it's normal?? This came from the engineer? I wasn't aware you had a hot line to the engineering dept.

Didn't see that info in the instructions nor in the advertisements....lol.

it would be one thing if frpp told people about this in the beginning and it is per spec, but not like this..

Also, its been through allot of tests.. no one noticed? Matt or any of the shops?

We need SD to bring it up in that car site for egg heads.. the one that would ban people like me in an instant.. haha

If you would actually read all the posts you would notice that someone called the FRPP hotline and FRPP said that is NORMAL, its called Tincanning.

Nice try, again, you make yourself look stupid:thumb:
