Welp mine is doing the shit too. I hope FRPP knows what the hell they are saying.

BTW no chance on FRPP strut tower brace clearing. It needs a good inch drop.
It's not as clear in your video as your whole engine and car are moving with it. Watch the battery and shock tower move.

Maybe mount the camera on the car somehow?

That's a very good answer. Your next job: Obama spin doctor. :roflmao:

Ouch! Seriously though, watch the video. Everything moves.

I'm pretty confident that all the FRPP manifolds are going to "flex" like what we're seeing in these videos. I'm not denying that.

And FWIW, I'm in strong opposition of Obama and just about everything he has done (which isn't much), and plans to do (and hopefully isn't much as well).

Yes, I did see the intake flex on that one. The entire engine will move due to torque and rotating on the motor mounts. But I see the intake flex and bulge, like other videos.

This intake flexing complaint sure stopped me from buying on. It may flex more when the engine and the composite material is hot. Makes sense the it would flex more when at operating temperature.

Man that sucks. I don't give two shits if they say it's ok. That's just poor quality right there. Definitely wouldn't put one on mine. JMO. It's good not to be the first one on the block to have the latest for this exact reason.

Well the good news is that I sprayed the manifold with a 125 Zex shot tonight on 3 passes and nothing blew up lol.

Speaking of the Obama spin though...I had my ET Street drag radials on the way back home tonight and it started raining. I slow down to about 60 because I know they are slick in the rain but it wasn't enough. Back end came around and I ended up in the median! Luckily I drove out of it and nothing got damaged, but wow what a wild ride. I'll never driver faster than 50mph in the rain on these things again.

Good to hear nothing was damaged. Be careful those things are like bologna skin when wet.

He meant the dreaded "first year bugs". Hence, the '11 5.0 reference.

That makes a little more sense now! Didnt read the post he quoted. In that case he should have waited for an 07 lol or shit an late 08 for that matter thats 3 years of bugs lol

08 1/2 and newer would have been awesome as they had the head revision adn a few more options from the factory, but i couldn't afford one of those, i'm plenty happy with my 06.

i wonder if they'll make a revision to this manifold and actually make it sturdy.

The Bullitt brace does clear on mine though, I always thought the FRPP piece was similar to a Bullitt piece... and mine moves about as much as yours does. Its crap.... Engineers have been wrong before...I dont trust the whole "THE ENGINEERS SAY ITS OKAY" crap.... :thumb2:
