I don't have that package personally but a member of my car club , ordered that package awhile back and when he finally got it, (something was on back order) , in addition to that package he also added, JLT cold air intake , sct tuner, msd coils, upgraded spark plugs, steeda delete plates, 3.73 gear, 1 peice drive axle, aluminum radiator, bbk shorty tuned headers, o/r pro chamber, and slp loudmouth, he put down 393rwhp on motor , then he fucked it all up after he added a 125 shot of nitro juice , currently he is rebuilding his stock bottom end, but before he was 393rwhp on a dyno jet

Actually 400 at the flywheel is about 350 at the wheels... I can't see this combo making that much power with all honesty. You will need a serious cold air, underdrive pulleys, long tubes, custom tuning etc

Ditch the cams and intake, replace with C&L intake manifold/Racer CAI and either Comp Cams 127400 (automatic transmission) or 127500 (manual transmission) then add American Racing Headers long tubes.

No problem.

I call bs on 393 wrhp... no chance with those hot rod cams, those mild cnc heads and stock bottom end and with shorty headers at that. These cars already come alum rad and it's nitrous not Nitro -_-

No cold air no exhaust mods whatsoever realistically this can't be a bolt on 100hp at the crank you're missing too many key components no underdrive pulley, cai, headers, x pipe, high flows, no way this is a justified 3k. Forced air induction supercharge that instead.

No offense to Matt or anyone else, but I spent 7 to get where I am now. There is no way I could spend 9 to have less.

You mean money wise? thing is it's not all about power to me... it's how im using it and I feel I can make the Na combo put me where most of the faster blower guys will be. I want to try and set this all motor record and do it for my own doing :thumb2: maybe i can inspire some along the way and it's all worth it for me. Plus I love all the work I have to put in for the results to show

I think I would go turbo before spending all that on NA power below 400hp.
although making some serious power NA is more respectable, my wallet doesn't care about respect :roflmao:

Matt you inspire me to get some great hp NA, but I would be damned if it costs me as much as a nice turbo set up would! :p

I understand the bang for buck ratio come into play for sure. I don't knock on boosted cars one bit, the only reason any of us serious Na guys still do what we do is because we enjoy the package of what it's about.. and everytime out to the track is a war lol we all want the next best et and driving and modding goes hand in hand who takes the cake. I will continue the Na theme and see what I can find out that no one has tried yet...

You could probably piece a better kit for around the same price.
