It should be a good year to be a spectator that's for sure. I just hope corvette is more competitive

they won Petit LeMans on the last corner when the Ferrari ran out of gas. But yea I'm a Corvette team fan also. Big switch from GT to GT2 obviously. The Lambo should spice things up a bit.

Man, this is easier than I thought! Thanks for the motivation guys!! Too bad I realized all this so late in the season but rest assured, the 2011 season I will try this out.

The best advise you will probably receive is to get as much seat time as possible if you haven't done this before.

I'm now into my third season and as Philostang has indicated it is addictive but it is also "the most fun you can have with your clothes on".

If you are looking for guidance I suggest you do some searches in this thread or just read new threads for a while as they are posted.

You might also want to open a "Newbie" thread giving us your background and experience and what your car is and what has been modded on it.

the names and a description of the tracks in your area will also help as some tracks are harder on brakes than others and this might affect the suggestions you are provided.

For further inspiration here is some video from two weeks ago

i can't wait to get my trak pak on the track. may try hooked on driving next year. i always go to road america and do the touring during june sprints and the mustangs free day. but i think with this car i'll have to try some open track events and really see what it can do.

Noticed you are from the Chicago area. SoundGuyDave and I are as well, and we run with NASA & MVP. I like both, and if you have never been let loose out on track I highly recommend NASA's program.

Just a shameless plug. :beerdrink:
