Those Billet turbo's sound like a great unit. I think it will really make a difference in you car.

Where are those hole things in the compressor side scroll?...and what purpose do they serve?

Looks real nice man; is it in yet, lol. I'm guessing the major benefits to this turbo is the stronger/lighter compressor wheel?

Those are the anti-surge vents made for the larger s and h compressor covers, they are an option, not standard. I decided against them due to research, there were complaints about driveability issues at highway cruise speeds. Besides with a bov there is really no need for them unless your running lots of boost 30+ psi, then they help along with the bov.

Thats an important part, the lighter wheel/shaft allowed them to redesign the compressor wheel for better spool and higher flow.

You can see in the pic (cast on the left, billet on the right). The billet design has a narrower center with longer/wider vanes. The outisde countour is also changed.

I can definitely see the new wheel helping out quite a bit. Quicker spool and greater flow potential seems like a real nice upgrade. Do you know what the new compressor is supposed to be rated for, flow volume wise?

-Rated to 900hp (cast 67 is rated to 750hp) the increase in flow of the billet 67 is equivalant to a cast turbo (around 5mm larger) so a 72mm.

Man, that is quite an increase. That is some serious flow out of a 67mm wheel. What are your plans with this turbo; do you plan on pushing your motor further? I am on the stock crank like you and I don't know if I want to change the crank to forged or not to push it a little further. I'm just worried about going much further since my torque is basically flat from 3500rpm to 6000rpm with ~650 lb-ft throughout the rpm band. I'm guessing your torque might jump up some with the new turbo.
