guy on another forum said the car ran a 7.44 and a 7.21 in the 1/8

That's pretty week. That is like a mid to low 11 second pass. there are plenty of 4.6 S197's doing those numbers on 11-12 psi. I have to think that with the Coyote doing 11's with stock NA motors, Adam's car is really going to move down the strip.
I may be totally wrong, but I thought Adam told me yesterday that something was amiss in the trans part of the tune and it wasn't shifting into 3rd. That kind of stuff is to be expected on the first shakedown passes with totally new software, etc.

Adam, if I misunderstood you and I'm wrong, please correct me.

update#1

Well, haven't had much time to get back on with an update. Between the days work, phone calls and walk-ins, its just plane nuts. The car is currently getting the cage finished up tonight. We are also installing the Kenne Bell 8 rib kit tonight as well. The Bogarts are at the wheel shop, and will be ready to pick up in the morning. Ill be strapping the car back to the dyno in the morning to finish the cam testing. Then Ill give the new 168MM Kenne Bell Throttle body a try. Once again, its been a crazy week trying to get all this accomplished.
Here are a few pictures of the car during the cage install, and the 8 rib install.I also took a shot of the tensioner, it looks rather weak, and this will be the next part on the agenda. Ill have the dyno stuff as soon as I can. I will also have some track numbers from Irwindale tomorrow.
The next round of upgrades will be the front brakes, ice box , and suspension.

PS...Joe, you spied right. I talked with Brian (aka Mizry) at Ford to do a quick setup on the suspension next week. Its just too scary to drive under power.

update#2

Just wanted to get some pictures up of some of the extras Kenne Bell has designed for the kits. First is the 8 rib kit, which you will need after about 12-13lbs. Notice the 2 different size waterpump pullies?? This way we can slow down the waterpump when we go to an overdrive crankpulley (in process right now).

Next we have the new 168 MM throttle body . Kenne Bell went a little overboard here but hey, the bigger the t-body, the less inlet restriction. This throttle body flows 2370 cfm!!!!! I posted a few pictures for your viewing pleasure.
Gonna be interesting....Thanks Adam

What fuel was used to get 965? Also, what kind of numbers does the 3.6LC on the SRT8 make with the stock engine and 93 octane (manual)? I'm interested in a SRT8 Challenger and if I did get one, I want a KB on it. :) Eventually it would get a 426 stroker and all the other goodies. But the blower would be the first thing (well and mufflers).

I'm quite interested in the 4.2 on the Challenger. Would it be bad to run it on a stock SRT8?

The ST SRT8 Challenger combo:
ST Motorsports 422 stroker,Inertia heads,custom blower cam
Kenne Bell 3.6LC @24psi
8 rib belt system
ARH headers with stock exhaust
Builder Bill stage 3 race tran with PI converter
Fore fuel hat and rails with Aeromotive regulator twin 255 pumps return style 80lb FRRP injectors.
Thanks Adam
ST custom ice and heat exchanger for LC blowers.

update#3 670 RWHP!!!!!!

Well, Ive only been playing with this car for just over a week, and its been challenge. The 2011 GT is a new animal. Ive been dealing with normal issues with the software. The car is so new, the we just dont have everything in the software CMR and SCT to make a pefect tune for FI.
I took the car out to Irwindale on 575 rwhp and the trans would shut off in 3rd gear and the car would go flat. I understand this is a common issue, and most havent been able to solve it, hence c-4's are being installed.
After spending some more time on the dyno, and working on the trans, I not only have the trans working great now, but I also made 670 rwhp @13psi. I took the car off the dyno, and made 7 runs back to back on the street in front of my shop, and I was speechless. The car is just plain sick at this point. I have the trans shifting and 7500 rpms, and with 315 gears it just flat hauls ass. Heres the last dyno sheet. Thanks Adam

I love how these rods are taking FAR more power than a lot of peeps here thought they would. I'd love to go back through some old threads from 8 months ago and reply with a little --->:nana:

Definitely no disrespect meant to Adam. He is one of the top builders in the country. What his company contributed to our group is priceless. I just had a hard time believing that was a “good” number.

Wow! See, that's what I am talking about... I new there was more to the story than what was originally shared. :thumb:

132 was his wifes car, the 5.0 went 126
Same car... his wife is driving the 5.0.

BTW, I just got off the phone with Adam. It's still spinning, but it went 10.66 @ 133 on the 2nd run. They are stuck using some old BFG drag radials, because the Bogarts wouldn't fit (wheels studs are too short).
