I hate to sound mean, but why would you post this on an S197 Mustang Forum?

This guy hangs with our club (think he's a NVMC member). He's a good kid and has some fast cars. If I was going to guess why he is sharing... I would say because (like many others) he has learned alot here about making cars go fast then applied it to his current vehicles, and is now sharing his victories... I could be totally wrong, but it seems reasonable to me.

Exactly, why worry? The times (commendable, by the way!) are not getting logged in the S197 official listing, I see it as just sharing results with the community. Hell, I'd love to see what folks are doing with their F150s. The truck forums come no where close to the tech that we have here, and my plain jane 2008 stocker could use SOMETHING...

Heh....I think it would be real difficult to get into the 9's with the 3650 trans, but I'm going to try. I would like to have the fastest car with the 3650 on this board but I've got a ways to go. I believe it's something like a 10.3 so it would take a bit of weight savings and a fair amount of additional power. I'm no where near maxing out the e-force since I only have the 3" pulley and stock balancer so it might be possible.

Thanks again everyone!

Great runs! What were your IAT's at the staging beams and at the end of the run since you installed the new IC Tank?

Looking at my datalog, when I got on the 2-step they were 84 degrees, and crossing the stripe I was at 128. I had lost alot of my ice by then since I sat in the staging lanes forever. I really need to insulate the trunk tank so the ice lasts longer.

I think I can get more out of the new tank if I put better 90* fittings coming out and going back into it. The nylon ones I used have a very tight turn and I'm sure they slow down the water flow alot. I have some brass ones but I'm leary about using them since I test fit one in the extra bung I had installed and it got completely stuck and stripped out quite a bit of threads when I took it out. I didn't even tighten it down and that happen.
