Dang, I wish my car was that light, especially with me in it. I really need to get mine on a scale but I'm guessing it's just over 4000 lbs with me in it.

Surely it's not that heavy. Mine weighs 3750 with me in it. That's with passenger seat and spare removed.

Curb weight is something like 3550 or so for our cars I believe, add around 100lbs for the e-force blower, another 100 lbs for the 11 gallons of coolant I have due to my trunk intercooler reservoir, another 25 lbs for the tank itself, 25lbs extra weight above the stock hood's weight with my cervinis hood, I'm around 289lbs myself now. It's heavy to say the least.

My First 1/4 mile ever

A few months back I purchased a 2011 Mustang v-6 (3.8L), with an Automatic Transmision and 2.73 gears. The only upgrages I did were from Jared over at Lethal Performance. A CAI (C&L), 93 Octane Street Tune, and Magnaflow Axle-Backs. This was my first time ever at the track, Rockingham, NC to be exact. Not sure what a "good" time is but I have attached the time slips from the two runs I did. The yellow copy you can barly read so the next run they tore the white copy in half. My first run was against a Toyota Spider (or something like that) I had him beat until the end then he flew pass me.... Second run was against a SRT8 whom I beat by one and a half car lengths.

I was gonna say... mine is full stock weight and its 3890 with 1/4 tank and my 400lbs fat ass.

Nice passes! Your V6 is as fast as my GT was with the same mods.

The next two purchaes you want to make if you are going to keep racing, would be a 3000 - 3500 RPM stall converter and drag radials. If you don't plan on draging the car, I would still recommend at least a 3000 rpm stall.

Steve,

That's actually a very good time for just those mods. A little more practice and I think you can get it down to the low 13's. Thanks for your support as well. We appreciate the business.

Speak to you soon.
