Not sure if this is the problem but we run firm up front and soft on the back on the D Spec, this seems to help with weight transfer.

Stock 3650 and clutch
BMR LCA & UCA
BRM panhard bar
BMR K member and A arms
Dspecs full soft up front, full hard out back
3.73's (otherwise stock rear end)
Mickey Thompson drag radials 275/40/R18(12 psi)
Best 60: 1.73
I launch at around 3500. Doesn't spin but bogs off the line. I'm open to any rpm suggestions. I've tried 3800 and 4000 but spin really bad.

Up your RPM for sure.
Dont side step the clutch or shock the tires. Do a fast "slip" of the clutch while pedaling the gas and clutching to keep your RPM up(without totally burning the clutch). Practice so you get the feel of where the clutch starts grabbing.
I usually stop and do two or more digs on my way home from having the car out lol

Yea, very close, you had any luck with the anti roll bar? I keep hearing people saying they are making a lot of noise if you are driving on the street.
It definitely launches straight with it. I don't notice it to be all that noisy, but I also have rear control arms and panhard bar with rod ends.

Will do. I just changed the clutch to a Mcleod RST. I'm anxious to try it out next year. Router, I'll give it a try as well. Thanks.

JLP built 302 stroker
KB 2.8 LC 22#
meth injection
10.04 at 134 mph with belt issues and spark plug blow out issues.
First time out with the new set up..
Snapped 4 belts and damaged AC pulley so I cut 2 ribs off a brand new belt and got the 10.04 with a 6 rib on an 8 rib set up.
Working out alignment issues and replaced regap plugs.
720 rwhp 100oct. tuned by Realspeed.

Shooting for 9s

This is seriously the most helpful S197 thread I've found on the internet. I managed consistent 1.7s with a dip into 1.6 territory every once in a while on 26x11.5x17 M/T Bias Ply ET Streets with a SPEC 2, BMR Solid LCA's, stock 3.55 gears and an otherwise stock suspension launching at 4K RPMs with 11 pounds of boost. I haven't had my bigs and littles out at the track yet but will post results when I do.

Best '60 in mine so far is a 1.6

- Shocks - Tokico D-Specs (full soft front & rear)
- Rear springs - H&R Supersports! haha
- Lower control arms - J&M
- Upper control arm - Stock
- posi - Stock
- Pan hard bar - J&M
- Pan hard bar support brace - Stock
- Gear size - 4.10s
- Brand/ tire size - MT ET Street - 26x11.5"
- Clutch - Stock
- Anti roll bar or which rear sway bar - Stock
- 5200 RPM Launch

So your fastest time is a 12.7 with a 1.60 sixty foot? with 305hp? something doesn't seem right here

Why do you say that? What doesn't seem right? :wtf1:

Here's the run:
