^ My install was for 05-06 model years I'm not sure what year your kit was although, how did you supply power to the Intercooler Electric Water Pump?
Proper Soldering/Shrink wrapping is far better solution than a crimp connection IMO, I don't know what steps you preformed but trying to seal out water with a properly soldered/shrink wrap is far better than trying to seal up a common crimp connection....

"2. Locate the 6-wire MAF sensor connector. Looking into the face of the connector with the release tab positioned up, the first two wires in the connector (IAT) from the right are grey and grey w/ red tracer. Cut both of these wires approximately 5 to 6 inches from the back of the connector."

"Locate the red wire in pin location #10 (2005 model year) or pin location #2 (2006 model year). Cut this red wire about 1 1/2 inches back from the connector.Strip approximately 3/8” of insulation off the harness side of the red wire. Place a piece of supplied heat shrink tubing over the non-terminated end of the Intercooler Pump Wiring Harness. Strip approximately 3/8” of insulation off the end of the intercooler wire and connect to the red wire using the provided splice connector from the Intercooler Pump Wiring Harness Kit and crimp using a W-type crimping tool. Using a clean, hot soldering iron, heat the wires (not the solder) in the splice connector until they are hot enough to melt the solder touched to them. Slide the heat shrink tubing over the solder joint and heat to shrink with a heat gun.
