Irwindale drag racing 4/10/2008

Ok, so three of us made it today, Dean, Ken, and me.

We decided to have some fun, so we raced each other with the "dash cam" in working order.

Dean set a personal best of 6.59 @ 103.67mph vs my 6.82. I ended up running a 6.82 vs Dean, a pitiful and screwed up 7.15 vs Dean again, then a 6.81 vs Ken and then a 6.85.

Ken had the 4.0 pulley on the 3.4 whipple (15psi) and the street tune, but still managed a 6.81 also. My 2.3 @ 16psi with a race tune was about equal to the 3.4 on 15psi with the street tune. But the 3.4 should be in the 20psi area or more, so I think Kens car has a 6.3X in it.

Paul, if you think that token video makes up for all the smack talking you've been doing, then you're RIGHT!!! It's always fun racing with ya because it's usually a good race. Don I need ya back @ the track asap, so we can both throw down some KB representation!!!

Paul it's almost as fun to watch your videos as it is to race. Nice job!! Next time I will change that steering wheel sized pulley I am running on the street and give a little more for ya to handle. Hey Mark I definitely need tires. I tried the race tune and blew the tires off and ran a 7.20 on my first pass then went to the lower tune and ran a 6.77.

Yep I heard you spun almost full track...

On tires - you have a 6.3x on your race tune right now me thinks.

Hopefully, next week with me there and you on correct tires, we will bring the crown back to whipple...lol

I was losing on purpose because I wanted good video. I could put Dean on the trailer anytime I want.
