Went to Lonestar Motorsports Park today in Sealy. The times weren't what I expected. My mph was down due to the weather, as was all my friends that went. One of my buddies that ran the exact same setup last time was running 2/10s slower and 2mph slower. It was in an auto, cuttin the same 60fts, so the weather was definately effecting times. Anyways, I didnt run anything oustanding on street tires due to the weather, but I my best was something like a 13.6@104 with a 2.06 60ft on street tires. I put a buddy's ET streets on for 2 passes, and ran my best pass on my last pass of the night. I went [email protected] with a 1.89 60ft. It could have gone 13.3s but the car hookin so well off the line suprised me, and I was lazy on my 1st to 2nd shift. The car has mph'd 105.5x before on heavy 18" street tires, so I was hopin to pick up some time by going back to 17"s and light tires. I'm hopin maybe in the fall, I can go on a dry cool night and knock down some 13.2s or 13.1s which I believe is possible with good weather.

Mods are o/r H, JLT CAI, and tune.

congrats on getting out.

ET Streets do hook well - you have to launch it hard with them on. now you know.... so you'll do better the next time out!

yeah, it was shocking. I was half expectin them to cut loose and they just stuck. I don't know when I'll get back to the track because I have finals coming up and summer is gettin here in Texas, so its gonna be hot. I might make it back in the fall sometime, but only time will tell.

Congrats!! Time to update that sig!

done!

I checked the DA for Sealy using the calculator you posted up a while back. It was almost 1300 ft. We should have went to another track with some other friends on saturday. The DA was like 750 ft at that track. The car definately would have went 13.3s if not 13.2s with that weather. My goal is to get it to go 13.1s with its current powermods.

Yeah the guy with the saleen is a good friend of mine. A bit new at driving. The car should be real quick once he gets driving down. The guy with the orange c6 z06 didnt seem to know what he was doin on the runs I saw him run. They were all like 13s. Did one of your buddies have a silver c5 z06? I talked to a guy for while with one in the lanes. I think I saw you pull in later during the night

He ended up runnin a 12.7x on street tires. The car has alot more in it, but he couldnt get a burnout on the MTs. Everytime he'd go to stand on the brakes, it would get real sideways and he'd have to let out of it. I have no idea why its doing that... It dyno'd 471rwhp before longtubes, and he has ARHs on it now. Should go low low 12s high 11s when he gets his drivin down

nope. no wheel hop whatsoever on the MTs. I left at 4000 and it just stuck. All stock suspension with ~21000 miles on it. You should go as fast or faster if you pull a decent 60ft. Like I said, the weather was not the greatest. The car has trapped 105.49 before with the heavy 18s/street tires on it. That pass has the stock bullet wheels with MT et streets, 26x11.50-R17.

Definately. It didn't spin a bit at 4000, just hooked and went. Thats why I think it'll go 13.1s with the power mods it has. I should be able to leave higher, and with good weather and me nailing the 1st/2nd shift, thats all it needs, not to much to ask right?:samuri:
