We have teenagers running around buying and selling meth and drugs, illegal mexicans all over the fucking place, dudes beating their wives/ gf's, children getting molested and they are worried about writing tickets because its easier for them because they dont want to open up a can of worms. They need to man up and do their fucking job.

I don't really care what any of you have to say, your entitled to your opinion as am I. Cops will never get respect from me. Respect is earned not given.

they do their job and if you wanted such an "easy job" you should be one yourself

I'd rather go home at the end of the day and feel like I actually accomplished something :thumb2:

Exactly... took the words out of my mouth. I am not a cop, but I have done my share of ride-alongs. Let's talk about their day.... do you think that every time they walk up to a car, the person in the car says, "great to see you officer"? 90% of the time they get the asshole response. So that means that if a cop is talking to you, chances are good he is going to get you in your bad mood. What a great way to spend your day...

NOW.... take that into account and then add in the fact that when they walk up to wrong car, their life could end. Well.... all I have to say is, you walk in those shoes and then pull the attitude. Their job is like anyone elses... they have slow days, and then they have busy days... and then they have days that not many experience... death.

Get some perspective people and get out your bubble.

Yep, catch those people. Not people doing 5 mph over.

Who's talking about someone getting booked for being 5mph over the limit here? The OP was spraying a 150 shot, so it's my guess that he was a well above the speed limit!

I was talking about 5 mph over. Thats why I dislike the popo because they nickel and dime people to death.

Then everyone got butt hurt because I said something negative about cops. Sorry people its my opinion.

Maybe I'm the only one then because I used to get fucked with by the same group of cops almost daily on my way home from work. I must just live in a bad area for dick head cops then.

Well being involved with law enforcement for the last twenty years of my life, cops that pull people over, 90% of them deserve it, because they were breaking the law. Patrolman do their job right and that's to protect and serve the streets. They aren't detectives that actually work cases like what you stated on beating wives, etc.. That's more of their jobs not patrolmans jobs, can they work it well yea but that's why they have detectives and violent crime units and such. My dad has been in law enforcement for twenty years and I had a uncle that shot in the line of duty. I respect cops. BUT there are some that take their job to seriously, most cops give you 5 mph over or mor3 depending. I will agree with you there about writing tickets for a 42 in a 40 or such like that. But if you're breaking the law, you're breaking the law..

That's just my opinion.

Of course you're entitled to your own opinion, I just don't understand where it came from or how what you're saying is justified in anyway in relation to this thread?

I mean come on, from what the OP has said "Take it around the block" and from the picture he posted, it's clear that the OP was doing all this stupid shit in a residential area, so the cop in question was out upholding the law and thereby protecting life by shutting him down... so what's more important than protecting life?

:stfu: ... You do realize speed limits are there for safety reasons and that pulling people over for speeding results in lower accidents and fatalities

I suppose within reason. I think the laws and the lack of training to get a drivers license is the problem. Are cops really making others and I safer by giving me a speeding ticket for doing ten over? Not really, they are creating great revenue under that guise though. And who doesn't like the feeling of being "safe". I think people who text while driving, put makeup on, eat in the car, etc etc are more dangerous. But hey if they are going within the speed limits, chances of them getting pulled over is slim. So while I may get pulled over for doing 10+ over the speed limit, I'll pay a lawyer $100 to go to court, get my fine reduced to half and go about my way. I give police donations, its just in the form of speeding tickets.
