I use Meguiar's NXT 2.0 liquid wax.

I find it is very easy to apply, spread, and wipe off.

C-Magic and Menzerna if I need a cleaner. Detailer = Adam's Polishes.
Which Zymol do you use? I used to use Black and also Carbon.

Not wax, though, lol Go figure.

According to Meguiar's it is a wax / sealant hybrid or something?

I don't know. All I know is I can buy it just about anywhere, it's sooo easy to apply, spread, and wipe off. And it makes my car super shiny and lasts a good while, so I have no complaints.

NXT is a OTC consumer product. They have to put wax on the bottle for the dumbass' people who have no idea what they are looking. In all reality it's a synthetic sealant. It's the same thing as #21.

Well, most liquid waxes are sealants. I prefer Blackfire.

Meguiar's will even tell you that.

Yep, although IMO nothing beats zymol or swissvax on a well finished car :D

But I'm a carnauba vs sealant guy. But don't get me wrong, I still put 2 coats of blackfire on for even coverage when I'm not going to a car show.

If I'm going to a show, I just wash the car with a heavy mixture of chemical guys citrus wash and clear to strip it all off. Then just apply my carnauba for the shows :D

If you want a Meguiars "liquid wax" / Sealant that looks great and lasts long, stay away from the over the counter NXT 2.0 garbage. Buy their Pro Series M21 2.0 it's only like $3 more expensive.

Or go for a "show" sealant like Blackfire.

Isn't the M21 just the same as the NXT in a different bottle?

Where do you purchase this Blackfire and in what ways is it better?

Meguires gold glass today for the first time and having mixed feelings. I used ice to wash it first and it was shiny as crap. The wax didn't really make a difference

DKS, have you tried Meguiar's Ultimate wax? It's a synthetic as well. Won't turn your black parts white either. I've used it the last two times and by far, I like it better than the NXT 2.0 I was using. It goes on super easy and comes off super easy.

I still need to try Blackfire. Where do you buy your waxes and pads for the DA from?

How is the shinyness and the durability of the Ultimate Wax compared to NXT 2.0?
