Even with bad weather the car ran it's best. High winds hitting from the right front.85% humidity most of the day and it rained twice. here is how the ticket reads.

60' - 1.801
330' -5.223
1/8 - 8.037
mph - 87.02
1000' - 10.482
1/4 - 12.545
mph - 112.31

JLT-CAI
Steeda underdrive pullies
One piece drive shaft
4:10 gears
Pypes X-pipe
Race Stars big&littles with 275x50x15 M/T drag radials.

What does everyone think? Should it get better or is this all it's got?

It will get better...60 foot can see improvements.....you should see 1.6s with your setup which will translate into low 12s

Go calculate the DA on dragtimes and see what that was as well. I personally think mid 12 with a gear, tire, and intake is a good time!

Yeah, if you look at the ET spreadsheet, most that are turning 112mph are in the 12.1-12.2s, and one actually hit a 11.998! So yeah, there is more in it if you get the 60 foot down--as others have mentioned.

Yah,I looked at the list. I just wonder what the others are weighing in at. My car is still over 3650 with me in it. I'm thinking a K-member and a few other lighter parts would help a bunch.

Nice man! :highfive: Is your suspension completely stock?(lowered?) Is the rear end upgraded at all or stock? Also, what rpm are you launching at(slipping the clutch or dumping it)? Sorry for all the questions but you and I have pretty much the same mods except you have pullies and I have cams. I am planning on going to the track for the first time this Friday night(yes, I am a track virgin, lol). I just hope to not embarrass myself and at least get in the low 13s! High 12s would be awesome but I don't want to set my goals too high my first time out, lol.

It gets new LCAs and relocation brackets on the rear next Saturday. As of right now it's just lowered with the front sway bar removed. The rear end is all stock with 4:10 gears. I was launching about 6500 (maybe alittle more) LOL. Just a real quick slip of the clutch and full throttle. If I can get the 60' down a little more I think it will run a decent #.

What rpm's are you crossing the line at? Does it have more to give and you can't use it? Or are you at the end of the usable range?

No, it has more. I could go another few MPH and still be good I believe. I just need to get some headers , delete plates and cams to add a little power. I'm still running stock mufflers also.

Hate to go any steaper on the gear. I still like getting 27 mpg driving to all the NMRA events. Florida was almost 2300 miles.

I ran a 4.56 in mine...My highway mileage was 21.0mpg and 16.0-17.0mpg in the city on a BBR Tune.

I would imagine a 4.30 would provide you with similar MPGs as the 4.56s. Not terrible by no means, and the car is a whole different animal with those gears.

4.56s were worth a .10 and 1-2 mph over my 4.10s, but i couldnt spray my car through full qtr after either. i also lost 2-3 mpg in the process. all motor car they are worth it, if id kept mine in my 12.07 would be 11.97 or better. i run at 3700#s also.
