I'm swapping in my new N/A set up, and found a problem, the stock block has 2 knock sensors under the Intake, the new boss block only has provision for one in the center of the block, What have you guys done? can I just stack them on top of each other in one location?????
Thanks
Walt

I was only planning on running 1 sensor or turning them off completely. Mine has 1 location also on the 4 webbing in the center valley.

New combo is:
Boss block, 3.7 bore, 3.8 stroke, 11 to 1 N/A set up, I figure if that's not enough, I'll through a blower on it, if the new 5.0's can do it.. I can:beerchug2: it should be 480 or so when tuned, on the same dynothat my stock block set-up made 416whp (Dyno Dynamics, load bearing)

I would like to know what you other guys are doing with the knock sensors.....

Sounds similar to mine. I'm running 11.8 compression with a 3.75 stroke

You have to turn off both knock sensors in the tune, you can't turn off just one.
You also need a set of adapter plates for the motor mounts. Available from JPC or Ford Racing. I think the JPC plates are cheaper and the Ford plates were only listed in the catalog not really available.

Alum big bore "Cammer" block is avail. you can find them for around $3K if you look, this Iron block requires JPC motor mount adaptor plates and some machining to the stock alum motor mounts, I'll know more shortly as we should be dropping it in tonight

I is a Texan
Rehagen Racing has the Cammer block in stock for $2,995. Need the money before I can buy, but I'm glad I won't be dropping $4500 for the same block.

same price as DSS and dagostinoracing but one of those offer free shipping if I remember right,

The Cammer block is not a drop in either, it has no previsions for a heater and the water pump is different, (both can be fixed easy) and it is 70lbs lighter.
