Today we recieved in the mail the first ever Roush 2.3L TVS supercharger kit for an S197 Mustang! This kit has been seen already on the Roush P51 510 HP Mustang! This is also the same blower that Roush and Fordracing are using on their GT500 upgrade kits! I have seen with my own two eyes on of these TVS blowers make over 700 HP at the tires on a Shelby. Showing this thing is up for some serious power potential on an S197 3V mod mill. Im guessing on a built motor 600+ will be easily achievable!
The kit comes complete with a 2.3L TVS Roushcharger, GT500 lower intercooler, new air intake system including a cold air kit and a GT500 throttle body! A heat exchanger is also included with all the cooling lines, intercooler pump, mounting brackets, and hardware. A new pulley drive system is included comming with idlers, brackets, balancer pulley, belt, and hardware. This system also comes with new fuel rails, 52# injectors, and all the hardware again.
Anyways we will be testing this kit out on a 2008 Roush Mustang that already produced 440 RWHP with our upgrade kit on his itty bitty M90 Roushcharger. That was able to net him 11.8 sec ETs at 120 mph. We are hoping with the TVS, even spinning it way under its capabilities, will make over 500 HP and hopefully result in low 11 sec ETs!
Ill be keeping everyone up to date on this and if anyone is interested please let me know we will have the first kits available, the first custom tunes for these blowers, and we are a Roush dealer too so i can get you a great deal!!!
