that sounds like a beast Kris, are there any underhood pics?

Not any good real ones of the turbo setup, as we just put it on in November after taking off my Vortech and it immediately snowed the day after the dyno day.

Actually it was all pretty easy. I think it took longer to swap my old longtubes back to my stock manifolds. IIRC the turbo kit install took about 10-12 hours of work total. Got it done in a weekend easy.

Awesome turbo kit, is it the On3 setup?? I am doing a build, but slowly going at it.. Gathering nice new pieces when money permits.

wow those are some sick numbers. What do you do with it? Track? Drag? Just burn rubber?

First track outing with the turbo setup (had a Vortech previously) is tomorrow, if it doesn't rain. Otherwise, street terrorizer. :evillaugh:

I've been torn about adding stripes to the GT as long as I've had it. The vinyl ones are sitting in the closet right now.

jdslow300,

Thanks for posting pics! White stripes look awesome.

I was gonna go for cardinal red stripes on my WV blue since it's kinda' a mid-life crisis car and all!

But now I don't know. Once again, white stripes on your car looked stellar!

RetroGT2006,

Try not to let this pic influence ya'! :roflmao: Seriously, though: I'm lovin' my little torque monster!

Ya, the turbo car up above is no doubt way faster and hats off to the owner! Still, I had no idea how much I'd really fall for an s197! Glad I did it and I really like the WV blue, too!
